The man hasnt got an ounce of managerial blood in him, opposition go down to 10 and he still stick to the formation what a fool Your Subject Title ‘G,C is a dick’ does seem to be missing out the word CLEVER We may as well go the whole hog ..... missing apostrophe in "hasnt", missing space after "him", the word needed is "sticks" and finally a semi-colon after "formation" would be just the job as would a full stop to finish things off. Other than that, this is a nicely-constructed piece and sums up the current mood perfectly. Obviously GC must go. Excellent! But keep your ellipsis to just the 3 dots please.

GC is a dick... hasnt got an ounce of managerial blood in him... what a fool. Attendances suggest I'm not alone in having real doubts about GC, but we've not lost in five league matches now, and we're in eighth place after winning three. So while the style of football may not please, your childish insults are dismissed with ease.

Remember that this was after a 3-3 draw in our unbeaten month, our manager is a likely nominee for Manager of the month (Lambert the likely winner), the subject of the thread looks a little premature now dunnit

And to disagree with some of GCs tactics is one thing, to dredge the bottom with personal abuse is another. Sometimes it’s not about what you do but how you do it and that was, imo, unacceptable abuse. I hope I’m in a majority on here but I wouldn’t be sure. Perhaps shoveller puts it better above and I need to realise that it’s just a forum, but when someone opens a thread with personal abuse.... oh well. UTG!

I still don't like him, but GC's ways work. At least so far, so he has my support. For all our love, and football his teams played, I fear DC had last year lost the plot. DC did not just drag us back up two divisions; no, he dragged us back to games in numbers that we don't see any more. But then recruitment went astray, and so did DC's luck. We next play MK Dons whom I believe do not deserve league status any more than clubs reformed in 1982: three points could even take us third! I won't accept the sacking of DC. But I'd be glad to top division three.

I think you are in a majority on this particular forum. However, most social media platforms seem to be all a bout a headline and personal abuse,it has become the accepted norm and I don't like it (Insert snowflake insult here)

Coughlan is over performing with this group, but the league isn't strong this year especially when we lost Luton, Charlton and strong Sunderland and Portsmouth from last year. Clarke did seem to over complicate things by the end and it was just one job too many for him. Good or bad what's past is past. GC still seems to have the players fighting for their places which is very healthy.

The man hasnt got an ounce of managerial blood in him, opposition go down to 10 and he still stick to the formation what a fool. Five weeks on and that 'fool' GC without a 'Ounce of Managerial blood in him' has gone on a 'Stinker' of a run. Following on from that dire three all draw with non league Acrington we then went to another non league club away at Lincoln, and could only manage to win it one nil. Following that was absolutly awful performance which seen two points dropped at home to Gillingham (who are that s**t, were not considered worth taking over by Jordanian Billionaires' Then followed this up at Wimbledon, yet another non league club who were almost bottom of the table.Frustratingly, we could only manage to win three one, so a somewhat 'Hollow' victory. A very fortunate one nil home win against a very average third division side Rotherham. So lucky we managed to avoid another protential one nil victory against Bankrupt Bury. Then yesterday scrapped another fluke one nil win over the Fake Dons. So we currently sit with a 'paper thin' twelve points clear of the relegation zone, albeit we do have a one nil win game in hand. It is time surely 'stewy' to formally apologize to GC thus bringing this thread to a honourable closure. UTG

Its amazing how mr coughlan has built a tough attritional and well organised team that has ground out a series of good results to get us near the top of the league. Even more incredible is that he has done this without the slightest hint of any entertainment or flair. He is brand the new tony pulis. Well done GC.

GC has done this quietly, making no headline big star signings.
We've crept our way up the table, been in good form, slowly but surely starting to establish a strong work ethic.
GC may not have the charisma of others but I like his directness in post match analysis and wry sense of humour.
What is sure, is when DC agreed to go I don't think GC was even in the frame for permanent position and most of us would have been adverse to it......the rovers way is to work hard at something, he did and deserved his chance. Players have done the same.
At the moment it reaps rewards, and long may it continue.

GC has been saddled with the useless signing that Clarke made. we paid Payne off but we could not afford to pay the useless Nichols or the as useless Bennet. I'd rather have GC in div ONE than DC heading back out of the league

I'd rather have GC in div ONE than DC heading back out of the league He could have sent him off to Cheltenham on loan and kept Reilly, both our players. Think that was GC's call. Saddled maybe, picking him every week, that's his choice.

I'd rather have GC in div ONE than DC heading back out of the league Every time a manager gets sacked from a struggling club he inherit's a struggling group of players including some he cannot move on. That's how it always is. Couighlan has brought in 8 players and wherever we finish in the league will be down to him and nobody else imo. Sercombe,o clarke, kilgour, craig and rodman were all here under the previous manager but have been important members of coughlan's squad. Your post implies he was only left with rubbish like payne which is simply not true. Regarding nichols nobody has forced coughlan to keep on picking him for rovers and when he has been selected there have always been different options.

Doesn't look like Nichols is going anywhere. Coughlan obviously loves him to bits. He said he's one of our own ! Maybe just maybe by continuing to play him it will hopefully cost coughlan his job here's hoping.
