0-0 31 mins. Bennett booked could have been a red kicking out at Kelly. Just one chance a Davies header Rovers not causing much threat to Coventry.

1-0 Coventry City on stroke of half time Leahy again. 😐 surely our kelly is a sounder option? Managers have their favourites and persist with them to the frustration of the fans.

Sounds like a howler from Leahy let in an unforced error and punished.
That's 3 glaring defensive mistakes costing 3 goals so far in league.
Even though it was an encouraging starting lineup, we don't seem to have a plan b yet to unlock or dominate an average team away.
Come on GC, sort it...

Nichols on for Bennett.
Looks like GC is protecting the "0".

When the owners panic and sack him in Dec, they'll put one of the ball boys in his place, but there isn't enough left in the squad to dig in and achieve what happened last year. The biggest question for me is, how are we getting decent attendances for L1, putting in £3m on top of that and still somehow we can't put together a team who can manage a single shot on target in 90 minutes? Something is seriously wrong with the way this club is being run.

Goalkeeper never had a shot to save the whole match!
Haha!
Good tactics, GC....you need a goal from anywhere and you bring on a player that can't score for toffee!? Kinda got an idea we got what we deserved...... wonder what will happen when we play a decent outfit?

Plus boxes regularly sold out and corporate hospitality an envy of half the division.....that's £ks coming in......plus sponsorship and advertising and 1883.....we must be bringing in as much money into the club as we can historically, and have been for a while. When you look at clubs such as Wycombe Accrington Fleetwood Burton Rochdale and even poor old Coventry, I look and see so many perrenially underperforming players with us, yet overperforming incoming funds. Poor.

August more like Based on what he achieved last season, he deserves a chance to have a go with his own squad, but last week was truly awful and today we managed 0 shots on target, the signs don't look good. Interesting to see the players' cars in the car park last week, maybe it's the same at every club, but those guys seem to be earning quite well. I got the impression when we dragged ourselves out of the 5th division that it was more about achieving on the field, as a team and as players, not about swanning around in '19' plate Audis.

The whole scenario feeling like Atkins era.
Ok cool, Atkins saved us from relegation but couldn't get the strategy right to climb a table and work out tactics.
GC says don't have a go at the players, especially young ones, we have character, good bunch of players bla bla bla and they gotta respond.
I say GC stop picking the players that aren't performing. You're making it look like you have no idea what is wrong or how to fix it.....you just use the same players in same confused format that doesn't work and say the same sh!te after it feels like we've watched the same match.
Upson. Agogo. Ollie. Too similar. Sercombe hasn't played well since 2017. Bennett tries hard but final ball too often let's us down so fails to deceive.
Leahy responsible for most the goals we've conceded. No THD or replacement.
One striker has featured in every league game and surprise surprise we don't score or even have a shot on target today. Too much hope and pressure placed on one person, JCH.
We have no width since monkhouse (even Bodin cut in alot) or possibly, Lee Archer.
But, Widderington, Tomkinson, Deon done ok in pre season and can't get a sniff all the while the underperforming aboves continue to exert their right with no competition to wear our shirts.
I blame GC for where we are.
