.....or Coventry?
But to watch a team that doesn't naturally play at the ground you're visiting, I've done three.
Apart from Twerton and Wembley.
Charlton Athletic away in 90s at Selhurst Park. Charlton Athletic away in 90s at Upton Park. Rotherham United away at Sheffield Athletic Stadium. Hey, a last minute 1-0 win!
I'm not counting MK Don's hockey stadium....been there, done that, got soaked
Done Cov away last season for first time at Ricoh.....it may well be the last time, too.
In all visits, especially because of our predicament and history, I've felt an element of empathy for homeless teams.
Anyways...... safe journey to all travelling and let's hope first 3 points of season are ours. UptheGas!

Apart from Twerton, Wembley and the Millenium, I can only think of the 2 Charlton ones and Rotherham at Don Valley in the UK and I also saw Real Madrid v 1FC Cologne at Cartagenas ground about 20 years ago.
Edit: I suppose if we are counting Rotherham at the Don Valley, I also saw us play Brighton at the Withdean.
2nd Edit: And Rovers playing at home at Ashton! ( we did also play a home friendly v Real Oviedo at Yeovil, but I wasn't at that one)
3rd edit! Seen a few at Hampden which doesn't really count, but I have seen Celtic play a home European tie at Murrayfield and Spurs play a home game at Wembley.
And another! Wimbledon at Selhurst Park.
There are a few I can think of that I didn't see
Bournemouth at Dorchester Brighton at Gillingham East Stirling at Stenhousemuir Edinburgh City at Spartans Celtic at Hampden (seen them there plenty of times but not when it was their 'home' for a season) Newport at the Spytty and Moreton.

I went to Slimbridge a couple of years ago for a Rovers friendly against Gloucester.

Saw Newport v Clevedon Town at the old Forest Green Rovers Ground, and also Maidstone (when they shared at Dartford) v Cambridge United in a League Cup Tie.

Leeds v VfB Stuttgart in the Nou Camp, 1992-93 Champions League. Thanks - that's an interesting slice of history from Champions League 1992-3, which I'd forgotten about. Stuttgart had fallen foul of the rules by inadvertently playing too many foreigners in the second leg in Leeds - clubs were only allowed to field a maximum of three in one match at that time! (That rule has well and truly fallen by the wayside, hasn't it?) Leeds felt that VfB should have been thrown out of the competition, rather than giving them a second chance in a one-off game ...in Barcelona!

Celtic and Hearts have both had spells at Murrayfield. Celtic during the Commonwealth Games had a European Game at the ground, Hearts played numerous games there during the Main Stand build. Interesting Fortuna Düsseldorf built a temporary stadium next to their ground when it hosted Eurovision. The temporary ground hosted three games I believe and was still far superior to The Mem...

The Real Oviedo and Norwich games were in August 95. According to John Wards programme notes "We have transferred our friendly games to allow the new grass to 'bed' in as the recent very hot weather and very poor water supply have slowed down its progress" so climate change has been going on for 24 years at least.

Rovers at Portsmouth, v Millwall (who had had their ground closed for fan misbehaviour). I had forgotten that one, In a similar vein didn't Manchester United have to play at Plymouth once? I have a memory of them having to play a certain amount of miles away from Manchester and Plymouth being one of the few grounds that fitted the bill.

Bradford played for a season at Odsal, the rugby league ground, after the fire in 85. Oddly enough Bradford have just moved out from the Odsal to share with Dewsbury as they can no longer afford the upkeep. I have never been there but always wanted to, I hope it survives.

There had been trouble at United's first-round first-leg European Cup-Winners Cup match away at St Etienne, so UEFA ruled (after an appeal) that the second leg should be played at least 200km from Manchester. Excellent Grauniad write-up of United St Etienne at Home Park
