With you on the Wael comment, vaughan. 2 years now of bluster and b*llsh*t. Nothing of any substance since UWE died (the first time round). In the words of famous troubadours Jean-Jacques Burnel and Hugh Cornwell: "Something better change".

Please read what Gasincider writes on p95 of the thread on other Forum. Damning. This view was shared with me by another trustworthy supporter today. My conclusion from my NON ITK stanceππ There is interest in buying the club from an individual, not a consortium. In my opinion, this individual has been playing the long game from 2018. But I think 2018 probably centred on resurrection of UWE. Wael does not wish to lose his El President role. Hani wants out as it is a loss-making business. Wael's sudden GT interview was allegedly an attempt to scupper the deal. All a bit of a mess, but the biggest danger to progress is Nice Guy Wael desperayely trying to cling on to his vanity project. If Fruit Market is an option, it is not AQs' plan. The family dynamic over the sale intrigues me. Caveat to all of the above - my opinion only. My God - he has it, by God he has it (or pretty much)

Forget Smash n Grab.
"Pretty Much" and Knowall has a much better ring to it.
All we need is a re-assuring wink from Henbury and an endorsement from Bamber Gasgroin and we can put the whole thing to bed in 13 pages. Not 95 and counting as on the other Forum.

It's been a concern of mine since back in the days of the Coliseum speaking gig that Wael was mainly in it for the kudos of being President of a football club. The clues were there from his work with the Jordanian FA. He wants to be a hanger-on in the great pantomime of football. The cringe-worthy nonsense with Will Smith only served to pretty much all but confirm it. The man is all fur coat and no knickers.
And now we will find out what he is really made of. It sounds like his bluff has been called and we will see if he really is a Gashead that wants to see the club progress over his own ambitions....or whether he is more concerned about losing his personal fiefdom.

So, sorry to disappoint, but there's nothing to endorse. But one thing's for sure, these owners secure the losses against an asset for a very good reason, so something is going to change before too long.

Big game tomorrow, will we score a goal, will we come away with anything. The record is two wins from 12, one against a side already promoted and on the beach in added time and the other in the 95th minute against a side already relegated which probably kept us up. We all can't be wrong that something is not right within the club.

I leave the winks to Henbury Gas. I am much more prepared to believe DC (they are undertaking due diligence - Sept 2018) and Alistair Durden (credible source, coupled with Alistair's trustworthy face π) than anyone on Gaschat. I will stick with my view on Wael Al Qadi though and his Fantasy Football world. I have not heard anyone from inside the club who disagrees with the essence of that sentiment. In the end, that disparity between words ans action is why DC left. Here's a wink for you - The Fruit Market development is nothing to do with our owners

If there's any truth in this rumour why is an individual who's prepared to invest upwards of Β£100m in the club not prepared to go public, if he did then surely the ALQ's would be forced to sell PDQ by the supporters if they got wind Wael was trying to stop the club progressing?

Unless, of course, this was not a takeover, but a large equity investment.
I am not saying that is the case, because I don't know, but in all the taking sides that is going on, has anyone stopped to consider that the Al Qadis may be attracting significant additional investment through new partners.

A bit more balance and logic here from what I can gather. If you know f*ck all - why do you have 87 comments on the banal and pointless Fruit Market thread on the other forum? 87. Yes 87. (Well 87 by page 100 of drivel - I'm sure there's more by now). Winker.
