I suppose that in a World that classes an overpaid footballer as a "hero" then some soppy pop singer does become a "genius",sadly diminishing both words.

He performed several genres, not only popular music. Don't know about footballers, but the safety officer at Adams Park is a hero, we could have all been killed off of lightning if he hadn't have saved us.

Midland's News featured Coventry Sat playing their first home game at St Andrews.Seems season ticket sales at the Ricoh were 7000 plus but have now gone down to 3000.

Blackpool - No go too expensive and to far bearing in mind our s**te opening day record - Fair play all who those who went tho!. Next up Coventry who, like us, are having lots of problems - I remembered a playoff match a year or two when their fans had the whole length of the pitch - Made a right old racket - very impressive. Shame the off the field issues look to have decimated their home support - So it could be a surreal atmosphere at St Andrews. Be warned again smokers Birmingham New Street will hit you for on the spot fine of £80 for not disposing of your cigarettes and cigars properly UTG

The last time we went to St Andrews was the fac cup match a few years ago when the ground was almost empty. Well apart from three thousand gas who appeared from nowhere on a tuesday night. With Coventry fans revolting, this promises be another odd affair.and after an easy win this week against lower opposition (how ofren can we say that) It was a very good performance, and our hopes are raised accordinglythe relatively short trip to Brum may now be worth a punt. For the record the four of us are going by train. tomorrow and meeting up with others in Birmingham centre. UTG
