How could they give any sort of accurate odds with squads yet to be finalised? I won't take too much notice of odds until I know who will be in our squad and likewise other clubs.

Sorry folks, would one of you mind copy/pasting these here? I'm on a boat with blocked access to bookie websites!

Just bear in mind those odds are from betfair and so are not 'traditional' bookies odds - as such the odds are fluctuating wildly as small bets are 'matched'.

4 and abit to 1.
Not so generous,i can see us struggling.
DC is I think a decent manager, but somehow the Box 1 effect will quite likely strike.

Were we not one of the favourites last season?

They are terrible odds. I'd have us at 12/1 at least, no players, new manager, the worst BoD in the whole game, the worst directors in any UK organisation (eernie and dirtbox)so we haven't the best of starts.

Every year the bookies make the Gas one of the "Promo-Fav's" and every year I ask myself WHY?

Every year the bookies make the Gas one of the "Promo-Fav's" and every year I ask myself WHY? Simple look at our fan base if they offered 12/1 and a 1/4 of our average attendance put £10 look what they would have to pay out. Then look at say Salisbury and if a 1/4 of their fan base put on £10 at current odds.

Every year the bookies make the Gas one of the "Promo-Fav's" and every year I ask myself WHY? Coz the odds are based as much on how much money is put on, as the chances of it actually happening. The more we outnumber the fans of other clubs in our league the more likely we are to be favourites, regardless of the mess we are in.

Anyway, I've just noticed that the new League 2 table adorns our official site, so the BoD are still in Conference denial.

Didn't the bookies, after the Morecambe game have Rovers at 10-1 to avoid the drop.

It's all about where the money is going. About how much they would have to pay out IF that team won it. Why on earth would anyone expect Hereford to do better than last season, for instance? As said above, with Rovers it's all about the number of fans, which was big for L1 never mind the Conf'. No account taken of how cr4p we actually are.

I'm sure that Rovers will wrecking a few people's league winners accumulators up and down the country. It won't be Rovers fans losing out, we know how badly we are run.
