Big club in town.Loads of North East accents at Stafford Services M6 earlier. Think they will love our stadium. We have a habit of disappointing in front of big home crowds and our home form has been dire. However,Coughlan doing well and spirit was good at Pompey.Good buzz around and we played well at their place so hoping for a good outcome. Rodman and Ollie back in starting line-up.No sign of Linesy but Reilly starts and Jabba on the bench.See they have Leadbitter playing for them. That was kept quiet!!!!!

It's all very quiet on here is it because we're 0-1 down at HT or is everyone at the game?
BBC stats say we have had the majority of both possession and shots with Sunderland having just one shot on target, the one that mattered.

We are in the relegation zone right now. All other teams doing well so far, this might be a bad day.

0-2 down, in the relegation zone and 82rs winning away at the top team Norwich.... This has all the makings of a VERY bad day/weekend/month/season.

Sunderland worked like crazy, we had zero quality.
There will be park keepers all over the world laughing at Bonham's attempt at setting up a wall for their second goal. I could have scored with the gap he left. What made it worse was that 10 mins later we got a free kick in the exact same spot, they set their wall up perfectly, then just as the kick was about to be struck a player wheeled backwards to cover the post furthest from the keeper. Exactly as it should be done. Doubt we'll learn from it though.
Zero shots on target in a home game. Come on Harry, when did that last happen?

2 goals from contentious free kicks.
Typical “playing a big club”
They were better though.
Never seen so many tattoos and scummy people all on one place. Bit aggressive in the welly. I having a piss and some Greggs sponsored d1ck was singing mackum songs in my ear.
Still, Nissan are leaving. Just keep that in your mind, at least they’re losing their main employer soon 😆😆

No need to give the corner away, and then when it came in it was Poorly defended.

Our usual down fall giving cheap possession away and failing to create anything for trouble the visiting goalkeeper. Home record will send us down unless rapid improvements made.

No complaints.

Very poor quality all over I am afraid. No shots on target at home is a disgrace. Both goals were preventable for all sorts of reasons. The first a stupid corner from a poor mistake. The second Sercombe needlessly handballed on the edge of the area. However, the ref then put the feekick outside the D rather than just outside the 18 yard line, which made it easier for them to shoot at the goal. Bonham left far too much room for the shot. We are in serious trouble.

We are in serious trouble. Part of the manager's job is to deal with obvious stuff like the fact that every single person in the ground, apart from our players who had their backs to goal, and it seems our manager, knew exactly where the 2nd goal was going to hit the net. He just stood there and watched. He may well say that he couldn't get the message to the players, well, we have a Wales full international out there, can't he organise a wall? We got duffed up by a football team who exposed us for what we are, a very poor outfit.

I was thinking of the late great Brian Moore’s commentary when Koeman scored a similar goal to put England out of World Cup qualification. ‘He’s going to flick one, he’s going to flick one...’ Zero creativity and two needless set pieces. Our home form is what will send us down.

We had 2 defensive central midfielders on the pitch and 2 more on the bench.where is the creativity with 4 tacklers

Our home form is what will send us down. We aren't down yet, far from it. Sunderland worked like crazy, I honestly thought they would tire, but they just kept chasing us all over the pitch from first minute 'till last, no other L1 team is going to do that to us again this season. I can forgive the outfield players for the second goal, it's tough concentrating when you are gasping for breath, but Bonham and the manager need to take a long hard look at themselves, that goal was easily avoided. On the plus side, we won't have a load of in fighting about whether going to Wembley makes you a good or bad fan

Craig’s cock up in giving the corner away was more accidental than needless, he kicked the ball as he placed his standing foot before trying to kick it with the other.
