The club is listening. From the OS:
We are pleased to inform supporters of improvements to the online booking system for match tickets.
The Club has been working throughout the summer with ticket provider, Tickets.com, to offer supporters an enhanced and fully device responsive service when purchasing match tickets, based on the feedback received from both the fan's survey and fan's forum event last week.
Booking tickets online for matches at the Memorial Stadium remains the simplest way of purchasing tickets, allowing supporters to choose a variety of delivery options, including the ‘Print@Home’ option that was introduced last season. In a further update, supporters will now be able to login into their online account and show their ticket as a digital ticket on their phone for entry. To help with match day queues we are also now offering fans the option to buy tickets until two hours before kick-off with both Print@Home and Digital Delivery options available for speedy stadium entry.
The new online ticket portal is much easier to navigate on mobile devices and tablets, offering services such as an interactive seat map and the option to filter match tickets by cost and availability.
Changes made will also now enable season ticket holders to purchase tickets for away games online prior to the general sale window. Work is in progress in the background to add friends and family feature so supporters can purchase tickets in bulk together for away games when travelling as a group.
Supporters who have existing accounts to use the online booking system will still be able to use the same email address and password to login enabling access to manage their account and purchase tickets on the new platform.
Both of our home pre-season fixtures are available to purchase online, as well as all home Sky Bet League One fixtures up until the end of September. Supporters can also purchase 2019/20 Season Tickets via the new online booking site.
The Club is also exploring the options to reintroduce 'Flexi Tickets', as a way of purchasing multiple matches throughout the 2019/20 campaign.

Especially for those of us who often don't know if we'll be able to go till quite late.
Moving to online tickets sales is sensible and clearly the way most events are going now. But not being able to buy them on the morning of the game while cutting back on provision for walkup sales was bad and counter-productive to the aim of encouraging more people to buy online. This way more of us will buy online and those who want to buy tickets at the ground on the day should see the queues go down somewhat.

I used the Rovers system yesterday morning to order two tickets for the away game at Blackpool. Twenty-four hours later they arrived here in Gasworks Lane, Macclesfield on my doormat, together with some complimentary fixture lists and a leaflet advertising attractions in Blackpool! P.S. I ordered an item from a global firm last Friday, being transported by a well-known courier; I'm still waiting for it to be delivered.

GasMacc1, you've clearly lost the plot on this (and every) one. Anything and everything BRFC is sh*te. it's not that hard to get, is it now?

Attractions in Blackpool?
After Rovers have gone there won't be a lot left.
A poor version of the Eifel tower, some dodgy lights which probably don't have a safety certificate and a mile of golden sands for drunks to fight on every warm evening.

Wise words, which I will ponder whilst taking Afternoon Tea at the Tower Ballroom, whizzing down the 18 slides in the Sandcastle Waterpark (UK's largest) and journeying through "1000 years of Lancashire's gruesome ... history" in the Blackpool Tower Dungeon.

Mrs Degg says your tea's ready. It's only because I've no friends so never get invited to weekends there. For balance though, did find this review on TripAdvisor; So it does sound as if things have improved quite a lot since my last visit

I see we are charging a premium price for our 'top six' fixtures, which includes the game against those giants of lower league football, err, Lincoln City!

I say if it's in their budget the club instead of relying on third party like tickets.com they can have their own customized online booking system that will suit their customers. It will definitely be a win-win situation for both the event and the customer as the sales will go much higher and ultimately benefit the customers. www.spaceo.ca/create-a-booking-app-scope-benefits-guide-startups/
