Na none of the a$$ business unless you want to. I credit everyone with more intelligent behaviour than grovel. Just see it as a dig at our club in big threads which get attention, yet the positive or constructive redressing with not the same dedication. Well done you. You expect too much. Life is full of disappointments. Not quite true. I hope for too much. Not expect. And yes, being a GasHead full of hope and not expectation, I am very much used to disappointment. Thanks for not letting me down.

How excited do you expect us to get about having the ticket system that works? This is a very poor tactic, take a problem and attempt to portray the person causing the difficulty as the victim. Sorry but it's old, tired and is about as credible as pretending that a bloke who comes on here threatening violence is actually himself being bullied because his forum persona is mocked. I don't expect anyone to be excited or not excited about a working ticket system. It does work, generally, and most supporters approve. TG has cut out ticketing fraud and brought us in line with most clubs above us. Something most choose to ignore.. And there's nothing wrong with criticism of a problem, that's the whole idea of forums. But, when a problem is rectified, I was waiting for a similar amount of lines in response addressing the situation, but what the the op has done is fine. No problems.. Why the sycophantic behaviour? You could just as easily have said that he's brought us in line with some National League Clubs. Yes, some things are better than they were, but, just in case you've missed what my problem is, I'll try to explain. If it costs £100 to do a job properly you can spend £80 and only get 20% of the result, and that's exactly what we look to have done with the ticket system and the shop. Both are half hearted, but now that the £80 is spent it's not just a case of adding the extra £20, most of the £80 is wasted. It's all about wasted opportunity. Add in Mintbet, apparent inability to understand basic CRM, I think the first deadline for buying season tickets for this season was May, MAY, what's that all about? I know that lots of people were caught out by not being aware of him changing deadlines so weren't able to buy season tickets at all. So, people who have followed the club for a lifetime and whose details the club hold are told by a bloke who has been here for 2 minutes that they can't renew their season ticket because he hasn't bothered to make any effort to communicate with them. It just goes on and on. He's bad news.

The far turnstile on the East Terrace didn't work for me on Saturday. Seemed to be some intermittent problem for those in front, with some people swapping lane. Came to my turn, the card reader seemed to work, but the turnstile didn't move. Tried again to no avail, so went to go to the next door turnstile.
Before I could swap the chap working there (who was stood at the other side, rather than in the booth) called me back through. I explained that the card reader wasn't working now as it was under the impression I was already in, and so it proved - the light turned red.
Finally went through the next door lane, and the chap had to explain to his colleague what had happened, and release the turnstile so I could get through.
Hey-ho! A bit of an inconvenience. This will happen where the card reader itself doesn't open the turnstile. But I guess it shows the card readers work in so much that they won't let the same card (or barcode) be used more than once.

TG system has cut out season ticket fraud by implementing an up to date, modern tracabilty system.
That's saved the club a few Mintbet quid...

Was that a thing? Was it honest Gasheads buying fraudulent tickets in good faith? Or was it supposed Gasheads ripping off their own club? I don't get it.

Was that a thing? Was it honest Gasheads buying fraudulent tickets in good faith? Or was it supposed Gasheads ripping off their own club? I don't get it. It was the latter as I believe it....the club issued a statement last season saying there were a number of season tickets purchased, reported stolen or lost, but still being used to gain entry (as the stubs were recovered post match). Reported to police. Don't know anything further. The new ticketing system system cuts out fraud. But as it's completely incompetent, failing abysmally, letting down everyone, yet appears to work when we play say, Sunderland with over over 10,000 TG is bad news. Apparently.. www.bristolrovers.co.uk/news/2017/july/ticketscam/

We have been very disappointed to learn that some unscrupulous so called Bristol Rovers supporters fans are telling the club that their season tickets have not arrived and then selling them off once a replacement pack has been sent out. Not cool.

Quite hot!
The literal opposite.. Anyhoos.....back to the point, buying tickets is ridiculous. It stops fraud, helps the club maintain communication for marketing and research via email, brings us up into 21st century, allows us to analyse all data presented, makes for a more professional outlook......but apparently TG is still bad news.
Apparently.

I actually like the paper tickets too. The lad I go with is collecting his. He writes the score and attendance on them. Probably he will stick them in a scrap book. The ticketing, working, I think's good. It's Bamber's job on here to find the negative. Don't blame a scorpion for being a scorpion. Someone to hold executives' feet to the fire.

Not so, I don't find anything, I just say what's there already. I thought it was jolly decent of the Council to help us out when we made a dog's dinner of getting the correct safety certificates for the new family tent. There you go, that was positive, wasn't it? Yes, absolute riot at parties.

You get invited to parties? Why? Not by the same person twice, obviously.

I think that other forum members would like me even less if I gave a detailed reply on my opinion of the BBC on a football forum. Now, THERE'S a challenge. from Bamber and Dido's greatest hits.

We regret to announce that our season ticket payment plan provider Zebra Finance, are no longer providing this service for Bristol Rovers or any other previous clubs.
We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused and assure supporters the club is looking at alternative options on payment plans for 2019/20 season tickets, although this is not something we can completely guarantee.
Those with current agreements already in place with Zebra Finance will be unaffected.
Anyone who has applied for credit but has not yet had it accepted, will have their application cancelled.
You can find more information on 2019/2020 season tickets HERE.
