Getting loads of experience playing regular football for maidenhead in the national league. Yesterday they had a fine 1-0 away win at leyton orient in front of over 5,000 fans and with high flying orient including free scoring striker bonne in their line up.

Got to be honest, I've seen him a few times in development squad, not this season, and every time he's been ok but not head turning.
He certainly has the physical credentials, and maybe he's displayed more maturity recently, so definite raw material to develop.
I like to see home grown talent come through, there's been precious little of that recently.
Maybe the close season is a make break time for him. Good luck, Alfie..

Maidenhead fan here. Kilgour has been excellent for us recently, forming a dominant partnership with our captain (Alan Massey). Our goals against record - which was the worst in the division - has been completely transformed since his arrival. He's been chipping in with the odd goal, organising players around him, and clearly enjoying his football.
A real fans' favourite, talk on the terraces is that we should sign him permanently if we can. I'd love for that to happen, as I think it'd see us benefit from his play, and then a bumper (for us) transfer fee when he re-enters the Football League. (We had another Alfie, Mawson, on loan with us a few seasons ago, at a similar age, and IMO Kilgour is better; he's also better than Gabriel Osho, who we had on loan last season.)
The only note of caution: I think his relative lack of height will limit how high up he will go, e.g. we played Portsmouth in the FA Cup and their two centre halves were good AND monstrously tall. As my Dad is fond of saying: a good big'un beats a good little'un.

One of the few positions we don't really need depth in and where it would be hard for a youngster to break through I think.

Alfie scored a 95th-minute equaliser last night.
Great strike. Crazy celebrations behind the goal!

That's an odd decision on the face of it -does it perhaps suggest that the Partington injury is more serious than first thought?

Gutted that he’s been recalled – this could potentially derail our season.
We did say that his recent performances have been almost too good!
I spoke to his family, post-match at Leyton Orient, and Rovers had initially wanted to recall him in the New Year, although Alfie wanted to stay and eventually got his wish.
Hope he features for Rovers, but I would be somewhat surprised if he did. So it does seem a bit of a strange move and, as aforementioned, is bad news for us.

I've stood next to Timmy Mallet whilst having a wee in those corner toilets... Incidentally how could Timmy ever tell one of his kids to grow up and act their age?

International weekend coming up, 23rd.
So will Locks be out? Is Parts injured? Leads still injured.
In which case we may be short of defenders.

If you haven't seen heres a clip worth a watch...shows what a good guy Alfie is and how he really deserves to play somewhere on a regular basis

Seems to share a lot of Ollies story in how long he has been with the club and in various stages. Sounds very determined and dedicated, well adjusted guy. Great too see one so young with such an attitude
