My predictions - 15 games to go. *UPDATE* Portsmouth A 0 Actual result 1pt. So ahead of schedule already :-) Sunderland H 1 Actual result 0pts. So we are still bang on schedule after two very difficult games. Blackpool H 3 Actual result 3pts. Still on schedule. The next 7 games look pretty horrible. Scunthorpe A 1 Actual result 3pts. 2pts ahead of schedule. Gillingham A 0 Actual result 3pts. An impressive 5pts ahead of schedule. Charlton H 0 Actual result 1pt. Now 6pts ahead of schedule. Rovers as wide as 8-1 to go down at the Bookies (though only 2 pts clear of relegation. Mad season). Plymouth A 1 Actual result 1pt. Still 6pts ahead of schedule. Great return of points over the last 4 really tricky fixtures. Doncaster A 0 Actual result 0pts. Not much of a surprise. We didn't really turn up at all. So still 6pts "up". Luton H 0 Actual result. 0pts. Still 6pts "up". Coventry A 1 Bradford H 3 Wimbledon A 3 Rochdale H 3 Fleetwood A 1 Barnsley H 1 18 points, so 51 in total. Home games against Blackpool, Bradford, Rochdale look critical. Then again they all are. Not a nice run in. Historically 51 should be enough, though I know it's very congested in the bottom half of the table and that might not be enough this season. I predicted 20th before a ball was kicked this season and I'm sticking to it. Stay UTG.

Next 4 games, could easily blank, I don't think we will though - Dale, Wycombe, Southend and Bradford all in very poor form......There is talk of 54 points, I think 51 with the GD will be enough, 52 would surely nail it.

2 wins from these remaining fixtures enough, but 1 win and 2 draws will probably do it as well.

2 wins from these remaining fixtures enough, but 1 win and 2 draws will probably do it as well. All depends on other teams results. If a couple started to put a couple of wins together then we can only hope we match them. I am not confident on our home form and you can bet there will be fairly large crowds, as always when involved in either promotion or relegation fights. I am being balls out honest in that I really don’t think GC is up to this and I see him as defensive. We play with no width so we get into too many situations where opposition can run at us and sometimes score goals, unmarked by anyone. I do hope you and eppinggas are right though

After 4 on the trot - let's hope the next prediction is correct! Gas are 17-20 to beat Bradford. It really is a 'must win' game because Wimbledon are on a bit of a run and I don't think we'll win there now. Our current strategy would appear to be "clog up the midfield, hope the opposition don't have any decent wingers, lob it to Johnson C-H, hope he can beat a couple of players on his own and score a worldie".

I do hope you and eppinggas are right though I wouldn't have given GC the FT job either, but he has done a decent job, no more so than getting a striker who knows how to bang em in. I think we have enough though to scrap the points needed. To be honest although we aren't exciting to watch we are capable of beating most of the lower half and providing we don't go into meltdown will get the points. Frankly if we don't get 5-6 points from these fixtures, I think the adage is something like, don't deserve to stay up.

Feel quietly confident, but wobbles won’t easy as they are in good form, dale are a bogey side. So if it all goes wrong against Bradford it could get quite iffy for us. Also this sercombe is playing absolutely rubbish. They need to drop sercombe out the side or he’ll relegate us.

I predict 4 points next two games that will effectively make us safe from relegation....😉

Relying on other teams to not to get the results they need... But... Skybet has us at 200-1 to go down. That's just attracted £2.50 from me. Get it before it goes! Other bookies have us as tight as 50-1.

So if it all goes wrong you will win enough for a season ticket to watch the ball getting kicked up in the air all season and a disgusting pasty sold out of a derelict wooden hut at each match. But not quite enough to wash it down with a can of coke, poured an hour in advance, so warm and flat, to wash it down with.

Cheese and onion sandwiches and Derby chinaware, fiddles and jigs, Woogie me dog, me aunty Vi having a swear Taking me dad for a pint or two and a Sunday morning stroll. Licorice pipes and baggy suits, Glenn Hoddle scoring a goal…

.... THAT'S WHAT I LIKE!
Missed lyrics from that good old Chas & Dave song..
