Yet another team of cheats the ref didn’t penalised and actually helped Discuss Mr Wright will be delighted with his performance. He made himself the centre of attention and ensured that his failure to apply the rules fairly and evenly affected the outcome of the game. Personally, I think he's either a cheat or incompetent, either way he should be removed from the list of officials as the first order of business on Monday morning.

The gaffer blamed those in charge of allocating refs. Said his cv was nit strong enough for a game like that. And once players see he is weak will push things.
Looked like he just wanted to get off the pitch with 25 mins left.
He could have sent of Norborn Parts Ogogo And who ever caught Parts. Plus few more yellow cards. He gave up on the keeper time wasting.
End of the day, we were poor.

Were were worse than the inept ref first half but at least had a go second half, though not particularly effective.

Trouble is both teams picked up on the weakness of the ref and spent all the match trying to con him and arguing with him.

Should’ve been a Mem record for red cards.
Partington Norburn Ogogo Golbourne Edwards
Maybe their keeper for the most blatant bout of time wasting ever seen on a football pitch. As we said on the terrace, if the ref doesn’t stamp it out early doors, players will keep it up & play on it till the last whistle.
Just another weak official whose most likely been fast tracked out of the Evo Stik.
Not taking away from the fact we were dire for the first 45 & just about average for the second half, huge opportunity missed where the tables concerned.

Is it my imagination or did GC actually not shake hands with Ricketts at the end. Or perhaps more accurately Ricketts pointedly walked straight to their fans. I stand behind the dugout & GC had several altercations with Ricketts. Seems GC let him know what he thought of Shrewsbury.

So many times I saw their players crumple with no contact but when the ref was at a certain angle . They should have had a man sent off after 30 mins. That was a second yellow all day. Wycombe and shrews are 2 vile teams who work off the dark arts more than football. I’ll love it if either go down

If Rovers ever 'played' like that I would stop watching them. The referee totally lost control after 25 mins or do. What a ****. I reckon I watched no more than 60 minutes football. The ref was a ****. Simple as.

I thought the ref lost the plot completely.
Gamesmanship and typical third division tactics didn't help, which I kinda lean towards a cheating tactic employed by Shrewsbury which I all honesty they didn't need to do.
What is real cheat is Tom Nichols being employed as a striker. He isn't. He's great at everything else apart from defending and scoring, so somewhere in between of that is surely where his talent lies?

Lots of people swayed recently by Nichols scoring two pens. Never ever scores in open play. Skilful yes but so was Gosling and his end result was similar.
