We're nervy and no wonder with the forward line he's put out at home. We outbid the likes of Sunderland & Portsmouth for a striker we've been calling out for all season and he puts him on the bench with the only other striker who's any good.

Jak almost won penalty
Agogo very nearly sent off. Could’ve been second yellow. Lots of tension and complaining to ref after fouls
Sercombe shot straight at keeper, anywhere else it’s a goal
All per radbris

1-1 FT Lack of quality in final third Lack of deserved red card for Shrews in first half is the story of today. You can play the opposition, but when the referee comes with an agenda you stand no chance, and Mr Wright clearly had no intention of being fair. It was all game long. Nichols pushed over, no foul, OK, if that's what this ref allows then them's the rules, we do the exact same thing literally 5 seconds later and he awards a free kick against us. That performance was in Gurnham Singh territory. If he had to watch that game and explain why he gave the decisions that he did he may struggle slightly. Hope he's taken off of the list of officials and never seen again. Nobody deserves to have that in charge of a game.

I thought graham coughlans post match interview was spot on today. For me the 1st half was a disaster although shrewsbury pressed us very effectively. The 2nd half was chaotic but exciting and we played much better. Promising performance from clarke-harris though ogogo was off the pace and along with norburn and partington could easily have got a red card. Holmes-dennis looked good again.

Our home record is now very dire.
In our last EIGHT HOMES GAMES.
1-1 Shrews, 2-2 Posh, 0-1 Wycombe, 0-0 Burton, 2-1 Fleetwood,0-4 Donny,1-2 Gills & 1-2 Scunny That's just One win, three draws and four defeats. Just seven goals scored. This has to improve with top sides Sunderland, Blackpool, Charlton, Luton and Barnsley still to visit the Mem we have to get some wins.

I agree with your summing up Vertigo. Taz was dancing through them at the end, they had no answer. I also dont think Oggy had as bad a game as people saying. The way salop set up and their press made it hard for our midfield, it may look all four MF didnt have a good game today but oggy showed good lungs and positional sense. We didnt get wide enough or move the ball wide enough especially in the first half. At half time i thought salop had done to us what we had done to Posh, and i remembered how leggy we had got that game and Posh finishing stronger. All sport, particularly boxing, cycling middle and long distance running or triathlon expending energy is key, keep too much back for finish and its no point carrying energy across the line if your place could be higher. Ditto football, you can have a great first half by burning up too much energy in it and end up hanging on or losing. Posh game and this game i think examples of that.

Don’t you often get that both ends of table though, a side with much to play for getting more joy away from home?

Fair play to the dohnut shouting from the Thatchers end “WHAT ABOUT THE PILOT?” during the tribute to Emilano Sala, literally 10 seconds before Lance moved onto the section about said individual.
I hope he felt as big a c**t as he sounded.

What are we doing holding a minute's silence for that anyway? It's sad, obviously, but not a day for national mourning. As for the game, Coughlan set us up for a midfield tussle with his choice of Nichols and Reilly up front. I say up front, Reilly played deeper as he's often asked to do because he's good on the break. We looked much more dangerous when the subs came on and added a bit of presence in the final third. Should have started with them and Upson instead of Lines.

Yeah, he did. He still has something to offer, but not in away games I don't think. In a way it's a blessing that Ollie Clark was suspended. He would have easily got a red card in a game like that.

Congratulations to the referee for spoiling the game. Absolutely rubbish officiating. The new lad looked like a target man, so there was a positive from yesterday.

Thought we were set up a bit lightweight. Though the wind wasn't too bad, it was always going to be a 'battle'. I can see the logic in keeping a winning side together (just Lines in for Clarke), but we looked a soft touch. Lines had a shocker. Bloody awful. Powder pouf in the tackle. Nichols/ Reilly just not strong enough and were bullied out of it. We immediately looked better with Katerina J-T and Jak. I would have hauled off Lines as well. Would loved to have had Sincs on to get f*c*ing stuck into the dirty, cheating, time- wasting shower of ba**ards. Felt like a loss at the final whistle. Don't think I've ever heard a referee given that amount of abuse at FT (with us gaining a point). Richly deserved abuse. How can fans report such utter incompetance? Seriously - that ref should never ever ever referee a football match ever again. UTG.
