Over the last five games to Accrington, we are the form team in the division with eleven points from fifteen.Statistically that's promotion form. Unfortunately the division has turned on its head. Generally the lower teams are performing better than those above them. So despite our good form, we haven't pulled away from the drop zone. But we are substantially closer to the mid table teams. It's a lot to ask, but we need a couple more good results soon to reach a more comfortable position. Our goal difference will always give us a one point advantage

Scunny lost 7 on the trot to fall second from bottom, since when they've won three on the trot to reach mid table, which shows how tight the league is at present. Rochdale are dropping like a stone and Gillingham aren't doing too good. A win on Saturday will be a good psychological boost after three league wins and two draws and will lift us in more ways than one. I'd love us to sign an Andy Rammel type, but I'm not sure they make 'em like him anymore.

Points gaps don't seem to matter much this season, we need to put bodies between us and the relegation zone. For me, everyone from 10th down is in trouble.
