HARK AT E ...Polak please do not call me names or swear at me it lowers the tone and defeats your contribution. Come and discuss this at the Mem face to face and we shall see if you are brave enough. See you at the Wycombe game Mike, I have nothing to lose mucker. Remember this before you make veiled threats. I won’t go to the mem, if you carry in making these veiled threats you may just find some horrible barsteward waiting for you. You have no idea of who or what you are talking to. I have never been one to make threats but I never write ANYTHING that I wouldn’t say to someone’s face. Be careful what you wish for. I no idea who you are but calling me names, swearing and disrespecting me as a Eastville born boy of old means I always prefer to discuss why you insist on this course of action. That's why I dislike keyboard warriors like Doctor F, Chewy, Bambi who talk the talk but are not prepared to say it to my face.
I have never sworn or disrespected you.
Peace and love KP... lets get on with discussing far more important matters like BREXIT and Rovers getting to Wembley and staying in League One.

Like I said in the other thread a while ago where I blinded you with Science, this is something I feel impassioned about and will speak up. It's fine if people want to be passive and ill informed like you showed yourself to be in the other thread but I'll back up my argument with facts. If you want to keep attending that's completely up to you but don't cry on here when the Football League renege on another promise. And I intend to use that option regardless of prognostic actions of doom like all those I'll informed members who keep on about impending administration prior to the take over.as I said it won't be the FA it will be the premiership who decide the future of football in this country because they have the financial clout and no amount of protestations by people like you will make 1 iota of difference to the eventual outcome.you can make all the noise you like but you are whistling in the wind.there will be a premier 2 in the next decade that is a certainty and it will be a closed shop and clubs like rovers will be part time in regional leagues Ah may as well just roll over and have our collective belly tickled then.

Some people need to grow up. There can be a case made for going to these games and not. I'm not going to judge people for it. For me, I don't agree with the decision to put U21's against lower league teams but it also won't stop me attending if I want to go. Then you can only look to yourself if you go as to why this format continues, ergo divide the fanbase.. Because everyone whom attends, are they helping or not helping the current format?Everyone who doesn't go, are they helping the players and club be more successful and make more money or not? Like I said, you can make a case for both arguments so to being so damning of anyone's opinion about it is pigheaded.

I don't like mobs or unkindness. But you do go out of your way to alienate. And to antagonise. Don't get me wrong; I'm into division. Division and argument are vital to dialectics. But you're widening your battles for no reason. This is why they won't meet you in the bar. O2 and the wookie are sure it endangers BRFC. They believe in the boycott in solidarity. Faustus and the dude don't support the format. But they view boycott as a individual choice. You and your mate actually enjoy these games. BRFC first team playing reserve football. You're alright with that somehow. Nobody stopped you or the Cornishman speaking. It's not censorship that we think you a fool. Edit: I doubt whether a Polish Bristolian really wants to talk with you about your beloved BREXIT much either.

You can help become more successful if you fund the club from other sources. If your point is purely financial, why can't it be possible to say donate the admission fee? Nothing pig headed in exploring other options.

The first sentence appears to make no sense. But I am liking another contributor using a stream of consciousness to express themselves. It's all so very James Joyce on the Forum these days. PROGNOSTICATIONS

So what was the prize money in the previous competition and how does that compare at this stage to the 100k rovers have already received I have no idea about previous seasons! All I know is we lost money for the first time in our history because this format. So I ask again, does it help or not help this format by attending? I have an idea to sort this out. you start a petition to the board that they work out how much it has cost to play the games so far and as a protest against the fotmat of the competition return any money earned over and above that figure to the efl,if that isn't satisfactory for you then organise all those against the cup to turn up before the port vale game and parade around with placards stating this the cameras are bound to pick it up and you will have achieved national publicity for your campaign which is something you will never get by posting on a forum supported and read by a few hundred people

Both are relevant. You can argue a fair point both ways.

Answer the question posed to you first! (Of course we all know the answer, but two can play the pedantic card). As you have pushed, yes I have contributed funds by buying 50/50 tickets on chuckash!the matchdays and not attended the match. I'm lucky, I live close to the ground. I'm hoping some funds will find it's way back to the club. I've done this in person alone, plus by proxy with another member of this forum. I think there's a difference between doing what you think is right and placarding the point. They're two different points. One is principled and discreet, the other is just brash and inviting possibly the wrong sort of attention. If you're honest and with integrity, you've probably pondered over this equation long and hard and with some sort of heart made your decision. That's fine either way. I'm just showing you my way.

Ok I will answer it doesn't make any difference at all Clubs and or the EFL don't look at why people aren't attending games just the overall figures and if the sponsorship makes more money than the drop in attendances then they are happy.no amount of argument on minority forums will make any difference to those organisations decisions.so in the vernacular you are peeing into the wind
