www.tifosy.com What is Tifosy Tap into Google Forbes.com Norwich City for an independent view. Debt bonds - rate of interest is determined by the club via prospectus Equity bonds - number of shares is determined by the club via prospectus Hopefully all appreciate that the Club has to take the lead and decide the prospectus. This is not SS or buckets for return of Paul Randall. Weird isn't it, the club wouldn't invest time and capital to produce a prospectus because some bloke, who regularly insults the Chairman and owners on a public forum, pings off an email with a link attached? However, they've given you the benefit of the doubt and a second chance, you can get yourself organised and go back to them. Looking forward to the press conference to announce the launch.

The reason they don't want fans to directly crowdfund any infrastructure is probably that it would look a little embarrassing for the owners if the fans built a small stand/roof/whatever and the only stadium contribution the owners had made in that time was some new hand dryers and the storage of a big TV in a mythical warehouse somewhere in Wolverhampton. That they never paid for...

Well done to Tom M for organizing the open letter to the board but what a damp squib it has turned out to be.
The letter included four positive proposals to achieve better communication between board and fans but the final outcome was that a watered down version of one of them, a regular forum, might be achievable but would have to be worked through the supporters club.
Never having met Ken Masters I've always been a bit surprised by some fans' hostility to him (particularly on this forum) but after listening to the "fireside chat" I can understand their frustration.
And I predict it won't be too long before we hear Steve Hamer say "I was as surprised as everyone else when it happened"

And I predict it won't be too long before we hear Steve Hamer say "I was as surprised as everyone else when it happened" That was fairly typical behaviour for Ken. I struggle to work out what he's talking about most of the time, but if you try to press him on any points he unravels very quickly, to the point of shouting, waving his arms around and getting quite angry. As for the rest of it. Tommy did a good job of presenting the questions and allowed them to give their replies. The SC route was pretty obvious though. Tommy needs to be careful here, if he gets involved the SC will have him organising the entire thing if they can get away with it. No idea what happens next, there won't be any great appetite to go out of the way to attend a meeting to receive non-answers. Less so if Ken is there performing like that. Ref the bigger picture. I have no idea where we are going, but wouldn't be surprised to see new owners unveiled at literally any moment. If they can't find a buyer then we could be in serious trouble.

I guess every club has fans like Ken but if they are in a position of influence (I hesitate to say power) it is another sign the club is going nowhere. After listening to the broadcast there will be some Gasheads who genuinely believe Rovers have raised £9 million to build a headquarters at Lockleaze for our community department. The majority are lost in the fog of deception and only a few of us are shaking our heads in disbelief that they keep getting away with it. Tom M represents the younger generation of Gasheads and it is important these fans don't get bogged down by the antics of Ken, Steve Hamer and others who are living in the past and clinging to something which doesn't exist any more. We can respect them for their old stories and eccentric analogies but if Rovers are to compete in the future with ambitious clubs like Salford City, Fylde and Solihull Moors we need the new generation of supporters to demand better leadership.

They get away with it because we allow them to. The entire interview was what my Mum used to call "flannel" which means (I looked it up) "to talk nonsense in a soothing plausible manner".

Ken was a Director of a company that had something to do with community work. He may still be, I don't know. I can't for the life of me remember Ken's company details. It always confused me why Ken seemed so desperate to hold one of the SC Directors' positions. If he wanted to do Community Dept work I'm sure he could have volunteered for that. Either way, that's his area of expertise.

But given how this club is run these days it really wouldn't surprise me in the least if we had the best community facility in the land and a rag-ass first team squad that are no stranger to shovelling fox s**t off their temporary training base.

An apt description of every Wael interview ever.

All I did was say that this is Ken's area of expertise, I didn't even suggest that he was doing anything inappropriate. I think that as a person he's a bit ridiculous, but I've never had as much as a moment's doubt about any conflict of interests, I don't think he's a dishonest or manipulative person at all. Daft yes, (draw your own conclusions from Tommy's interview) but I think he's sincere and trustworthy.

Daft yes, (draw your own conclusions from Tommy's interview) but I think he's sincere and trustworthy. Daft is a kind way of putting it and probably the best description. I don't think Ken had a devious plan to mislead fans into thinking Rovers had put £9 million into a facility at Lockleaze but equally I think he is quite aware that by spewing out ambiguous stuff like this many fans will grasp at it and be lulled back into thinking we are in good hands after all and that he is a "great bloke". It is exactly the same tactic Wael uses with his "teams of experts" talk knowing that most fans consider him their superior who "knows best" so they can carry on slumbering while he takes care of things. And it equally applies to Steve Hamer (he must be someone big in "the City" mustn't he ?) who, with a nod and a wink to the "Tommy's", lets them know that those in high places cannot be "arsed" to speak to them but that we should rest assured they are dealing with all the technical intricacies such as "entrance landfills" and "two mile concrete walkways from the village" which have to be mastered before we can have a training ground like Fleetwood's. But who are the daft ones ?

Port Vale fans staged a protest before their latest defeat yesterday at home to Morecambe with a march from the Burslem Town Hall to Vale Park. They are protesting about the way their club is being run and heading towards the oblivion of the Conference.
