Vast amount for healthcare? This is why we need a comedy section on this forum. Sure, A&E may well be crowded, often with people who don't actually really need to be there, but with critical health care our NHS is simply brilliant. Is it perfect? Of course not, but it's the envy of large parts of the world. Never enough for education? Are you one of the people who think that University education should be free? 😆😆 You need to travel if you think the NHS is the envy of the world. Political NHS worship doesn’t interest me. It’s only good if you’re extremely poor, as a service it’s a shower of crap. In wales, it was a year wait for an MRI scan. In Bristol it was 3 months. That’s unheard of anywhere else, you can get one for about £150 abroad pretty much the same day. University education is never free, neither is the NHS. I’m saying if we have money forcibly removed from our pay, we should expect a better service than we get, and Id rather university was free at delivery for the most intelligent from a variety of backgrounds than the current expensive daycare centre it is for a majority of courses which offer nothing to employers. How many people are nett contributors to the NHS through their lifetimes? Yes, I've travelled, plenty, try having a serious injury or illness abroad with no insurance, we'll have a whip round for you Maybe we can agree that the NHS is so big that managing it efficiently is beyond problematic? There's huge waste and inefficiency, if you can help correct that I'm sure you would be welcomed with open arms. Sounds like we agree on University at least. No time for people who think that someone else should pay for their qualifications. Even then, the moaners ignore the fact that if they don't earn beyond a certain level they never pay back a penny. Yes, back to football. Vote Masters!

Yawn. More pseudo political crap from our resident "experts". Any chance you could take this anywhere but a site about Rovers please?

Tenuous link to private companies not being obliged to reveal their private dealings. I’m glad you recognised me as an expert though, you’re bang on there 👍

As we know, the way to deal with them is to invoke forum rules to censor them. That’s how you fight bigotry. 😆😆

When corbyn bans tackling on the basis of it being too “mean” and imposed mandatory 1-1 score lines to ensure equal distribution of goals, you’ll take sides. Then will come all women line ups, recognising the right of all players to score (not just those with striking talent) and open borders pitches, meaning anyone can wander on mid match and play, don’t come running back saying politics doesn’t interest you. You’ve been warned, definitely going to happen if he’s elected.

It's a football site, not a politics page. OK, but remember what happened a few weeks ago with a thread, can't remember what the topic was, something, maybe Brexit, honestly can't remember, it drifted away from football, a few people complained, the thread took it's course and just faded away, it didn't go on for days with people waving red and blue flags around. I think we all 'get' the fact that this is a Rovers forum, but sometimes conversations will drift onto subjects that people just tend to talk about, it happens. If the forum ended up in a position where you were searching for Rovers stuff in amongst non-football stuff then it would be fair criticism, but personally I don't think there's a serious problem, and it's not as if there are arguments, most of it is just silliness / gentle playing. Anyway, back on topic, I think that Tommy has done a brilliant job, most of us sit here whinging, he's got off of his arse and actually done something, well done him. Have I found 1 thing we can agree on?

after listening to the Hamer interview, I'm wondering if....
the hold-up at the Colony is partly that it was part of a 'ready to go' deal (like a kit car) that was negotiated before Christmas for further investment alongside a new stadium plan and Wael staying as Prez

AMPG - Thanks for the summaries (I haven't got round to listening myself, I don't think I'll bother, I've read enough). Well played Tommy for at least getting in front of Crazy Steve and Invisible Ken. Sadly, ultimately, predictably, to no discernible effect.

Ah yes, what a day that was. I was in the away end that day and got to see Ken in all his glory. I still maintain that he's just living the supporters dream though. I'd have done the same if I was on the pitch at that point in time! Was a great day indeed and I agree, I probably would have as well to be honest.
Don't think anyone can doubt his enthusiasm for the club and his community/charity work. Still no idea what he brings to the table as a fans rep, especially so now
Yup, I'm 100% on board with what you are saying there!
