23 years old, 5ft 11. 22 goals in 44 National League appearances last season. 17 goals in 23 National League appearances this season.
On paper, he would appear to be worth a gamble for every League Two side and most of League One. However if Championship clubs are already siniffing around, it may mean he's probably out of our budget range.
I would think if DC's admission that we are still operating on a "one out, one in" policy is accurate, he is almost certainly out of our budget range.
The sort of player I would expect to see a Portsmouth or Peterborough to sign and do well at.

At a similar size club with a possibility of being in the same division as us next season. Cant see the attraction for the player myself.

I watched Leyton Orient v Gateshead last weekend, and Orient had a 29yr old 6' 3''centre half called Josh Coulson, who never put a foot wrong. Judging on just that one performance, he's just the sort of centre back we haven't got.

I like players to have good names. Brett Assombalonga being a particular favourite, and Forbes Phillipson-Masters from the Dark Side being a well-named 'baddie'
Macauley Bonne scores quite well

It might be 'Simpkins'. If not, I think it's something like that

Tareiq holmes-dennis is a very exotic name for footballer but i cant for the life of me remember who he plays for? Danger Fourpence. A Zimbabwean defender who plays for Kiglon Bird FC. Unfortunately he is better known for his unique name rather than his footballing abilities. Distance relative of Geoffrey Twentypence !
Argelico f**ks. 38-year-old f**ks is now retired having played from 1992 to 2007 with 10 different teams across the world. You can imagine the field day journalists had every time he changed club...

Doesn't matter whom we sign, Nichols will get his place ahead of him anyway.

Such a shame that Semesa Rokoduguni plays rugby for Bath, and not footie for us. We could sing his name to the tune of "for he's a jolly good fellow" all through the game. On second thoughts, stick with the rugger, Semesa.

Who??
Forward for Leyton Orient doing well, won't happen but I look at strange scenario like that. Just sayin'... back in April :-) "Justin Edinburgh was appointed and did a great job. He put the goal-keeping coach (Dean Brill) between the sticks and the two young "rabbits in the headlights" keepers didn't play another game between them. Players played in their natural positions and no tinkering with the formation. Not exactly rocket science. CB's Elokobi and Coulson came back from injury and the defence has been pretty watertight since then. After flirting with relegation around Christmas - Orient edged up the table to a creditable 13th finish. Macauley Bonne ended up on 22 goals which is a great performance in a team that was just awful for half a season. Quick, good in the air, gives it 100%, player of the season by a country mile. If Ellis goes in the summer then he would make a good replacement... and 'probably' not a huge amount of money - though his goal-scoring exploits obviously haven't gone unnoticed. Ebou Adams is on loan from Norwich is quality - and adds a bit of steel in mid-field and he is really good prospect for the future. O's fans are desperate to keep both. Ended up watching the Gas 17 times (including Sarfend on Saturday) and Orient 13... " Read more: gasheads.org/thread/6330/leyton-orient?page=2#ixzz5ZCk5c3WZ

I am not sure I have spelt this correctly but I'm sure in the 1920's or 30's we had a player called Kosuth Seed Barnes. I maybe wrong though!

I'd advise him not to join Rovers with Clarke's nack of turning good strikers into street bollards.
