That was a disgrace.
No fight in the players whatsoever, that comes from the manager.
We are in deep deep trouble.

We are in freefall. Can't see any way out of this either via our owners or DC. Looks like dark days ahead -AGAIN! Yeah. I agree we will go down now. The squads all wrong. The forms all wrong. You can’t buy goals in January. Part of me still believes in Clarke. Keep him after the relegation and he can get us into the top 3 of league 2? What makes you think he is capable of doing that because I think he needs a change of scenery he has run out of ideas

Not seeing off Barnet over two games would be shocking. It would suggest something seriously wrong. Not just not clinical in front of goal, but sloppy at the back at times. In terms of squad balance and recruitment, we have gone backwards since we played the first league one game couple of years ago? Upson, Smith, Payne, Rodman, Bennett, anyone object if I hire a van and drive them to their next club? Make Upson walk. All he did tonight was get in the way, foul and give the ball away.

Surely the end for DC. And yet it seems he won't go & they won't sack him....

The FA Cup results in recent time have been very costly to the club. The squad is average any recruits in winter were dependent on extra income from a cup run.
Blaming DC is trying to find a reason for the poor form. I don’t think Sir Alex could get players playing who don’t want to be here.

If they don't want to be here, why the **** did they sign in the first place? Actually, don't answer - because no-one else wanted them & they needed a wage.

He would tell them that if they turn in the sort of dross that every single player apart from Sercombe did for us tonight, he would make it his personal mission to make sure that they never got another club in Britain.

I think the phrase I am looking for rhymes with "clucking bell". Only positive - looks like a slightly weakened side put out and we can actually try and get something out of the Charlton game. Lockyear played 90 mins in Albania last night still made the bench. Where are you seeing weaknesses in tonight’s line up? I think the truth is the squad is a much of a muchness, all under performing, line ups and personnel tinkered on a match by match basis. Smith in goal (presume Bonham is not allowed to play). Kelly - good as a wingback (IMHO). Not a left back. Upson + O Clarke in midfield. Slow. Lack creativity. Bennett. Inconsistent at best. Rodman. Coming back from personal problems. "DC attempts to make a silk purse from a sows ear".

That was grim viewing tonight. For 20 minutes barnet were in a lot of trouble but we failed to score. After that the game was even until we scored, then they gave it a go and took us apart and deserved to win. I dont think the players we have are good enough and if we go down i can see us struggling in league 2 in all honesty. Its such a shame to see a good side and a club with real momentum turn to dust but isn't that always how it works at rovers?

I've been saying this since the summer. It's just sad what has happened to our football Club over the last 18 months. Stay UTG.

Partington and Holmes Dennis as fullbacks (assuming both are fit enough to play) Start Lines with Ollie Clarke and have Sercombe play as an Attacking mid just in front of them. Drop Payne out of the match day squad and play Reilly and Nichols up front with each other (they did decently as a partnership against Coventry so why not.) Bonham instead of Smith in goal is obvious. A really really important game for us but I'm expecting little out of it.

He's on Twitter isn't he? Ask him. If Clarke hasn't resigned yet, maybe ask him when Wael last attended a training session.

I must admit that i thought this was "our time" after the 2 promotions and the new owners breezing in full of smiles. Bloody shame whats happened. I think the manager has struggled for quite a while but the biggest let down has been well above his position imo.

And Roy Keane would have a thing or two to say to the current bunch of 'losers'.

Quiz Time. Name the four current Rovers players who all played in the three non league defeats against Chesham, Barrow and Barnet ?
