I can sum up all of our problems with one simple quote. You can’t make a silk purse out of a sow,s ear. I've been saying that since the start of the season. It relates directly to the sales of Bodin/Harrison/Gaffney/Browner and the significantly lower quality players that have been brought in. I guess partly down to funds not being made available, and partly down to some some poor signings. That said - I've seen just about enough quality in the last 2 league games to suggest we can stay up. Payne/Nichols looks like it could be working, even if we still rely heavily on getting goals from midfield. Locks back, 5-3-2, defensively pretty solid, less f*ck***g tinkering, Kelly and Leads providing the width... might nick 20th place. Which is where I thought we would finish before the season started. Stay UTG.

The away terrace did not have one single fan on it. I took a photo as I have NEVER seen that before. They had their fans in the far left of the south stand, i don’t think it could have been more than a hundred. Terrible support but being beaten by them is more alarming to me. Well to be fair it's a small place and a very long way. They've been comfortably more successful than us over the last 20 years including a couple of stints in the 2nd tier which we could only dream of. In terms of recent status us losing to Scunny is the natural order of things rather than a fluke embarassment. That should be what really concerns us. Definitely less than 100 fans though. On a clear and bright Saturday afternoon mid-November... that's pathetic. And they were lucky to nick the points. S****.
