I got a better chance of scoring, dribbling down Park St, bollock naked and incontinent after 19 pints of scrump on a Fri night.. Scoring used to be easy staggering down Park St in that state on a Friday night, just take a left into Vikkie's Night Club and the rest takes care of itself.

I've never crossed that bridge Or, for the Gentleman with a more mature palate, maybe stagger a little further, all the way down to The Mauretania. I expect it's all coffee shops and kids with selfie sticks now though. That's the trouble with youngsters today, no class.

ONE league goal in almost 2 seasons, and he has at least another year on his contract . Thanks DC 2 league goals (1 pen). Just for the record. The Pen was in the Mickey Mouse Cup (ironic really)

He won and scored two in two games like he'd been practicing it in training. One was in the league I think. His scoring fad soon passed.

Two in the Associate Members (plus Interlopers) Cup: West Ham U21 last season, Port Vale (pen) this season.

On the contrary, steptoe, Nichols was heavily involved on Saturday. In the first half alone he was responsible for the breakdown of no fewer than NINE Rovers attacks. I really do not understand how he gets a game. If I managed a pub team he would not even be on the bench. That’s just brightened my day mate bloody brilliant, heavily involved in the breakdown of nine attacks, that’s given me a good laugh thanks.

Update. 75 games now, 2 goals (1 a pen). Continues to look like a small child playing against grown-up's. 'Nice' first touch. Easily knocked off the ball. Doesn't compete for headers. Doesn't tackle. Doesn't track back. Often caught off-side. Never in a dangerous position and never likely to score. I do not understand why we had to wait 75 minutes for him to be subbed. Very obviously not working out for him against Dale and he should have been hooked HT at the very latest. On the plus side he did provide a classic Nilgoals bit of slap-stick comedy. Faced with an off-balance defender to beat before a potential run on goal and a 1 on 1 with their keeper, trod on the ball and fell over. To be fair supporters (east Stand anyway) didn't shout abuse or get on his back. They just laughed.

"They just laughed."
Yep, we did. We're through with the crying.
TN is no scapegoat, many played poorly v Rochdale. And v Wimbledon.
We all wanted it to work, it hasn't, I think the summer should flush out the hypnosis of some players that aren't good enough for this league. Thank them for their hard work, and everyone moves on..

Worried that it won't be easy to attract the many replacements we so obviously need.

Worried that it won't be easy to attract the many replacements we so obviously need. Don't be fooled by that rubbish about the part of the country we are in, or any of the other excuses, players at this level will go where the salary and length of contract takes them, even it does mean having to live with us soft southern barstewards for a while. <iframe width="36.0799999999999" height="2.92" id="MoatPxIOPT0_35516206" scrolling="no" style="border-style: none; left: 15px; top: -5px; width: 36.08px; height: 2.92px; position: absolute; z-index: -9999;"></iframe> <iframe width="36.0799999999999" height="2.92" id="MoatPxIOPT0_31399313" scrolling="no" style="border-style: none; left: 1732px; top: -5px; width: 36.08px; height: 2.92px; position: absolute; z-index: -9999;"></iframe> <iframe width="36.0799999999999" height="2.92" id="MoatPxIOPT0_27804449" scrolling="no" style="border-style: none; left: 15px; top: 87px; width: 36.08px; height: 2.92px; position: absolute; z-index: -9999;"></iframe> <iframe width="36.0799999999999" height="2.92" id="MoatPxIOPT0_29607865" scrolling="no" style="border-style: none; left: 1732px; top: 87px; width: 36.08px; height: 2.92px; position: absolute; z-index: -9999;"></iframe>

Can players contracts have a "must play if fit" clause?
Based on the majority of opinions on here, that's one way his regular selection could be explained.

If he is actually fit that makes the fact that he has been jogging around, taking in the scenery for the last 2 home games even more of a disgrace.

An unknown next season is will the playing budget remain the same if we stay up? If it was the same coughlan could reduce the size of the squad and try to get better players. We do need to move several players on and i believe tommy widdrington stated that 90% of the squad were out of contract.

A hypothetical.
If I was Manager and someone said either Tom N or Jamie Cureton for a place on Saturday, I would choose Cureton.

Hopefully we will let Tom go in the summer, I think it's best for both parties.
