As someone else mentioned, even the pre match pints are not flowing so well as we fail to find the net again. I can cope with score draws but 0-0 games are just not entertaining, not for me anyway. Where are the never say die players that we used to have ? We just seem to have lost any momentum that we really should have built upon, after two promotion seasons. BTW I am of the opinion that those promotion sides had NH’s stamp on them but many of us got taken in by the new owners or, this made I laugh, the fake sheiks ( from a Facebook messenger group). We had a very real chance of going further but didn’t invest. That upset me more than anything right now. Imagine how 5h1t scared Lansdown was, that he bought our top scoring player for fear of us making the championship. As Greavsie would say, it’s a funny old game Those promotions were built on a half decent League standard defence playing part time teams (but the team still not being better than Barnet that year), getting over the line at Wembley because someone else made a mistake, and carrying that momentum and belief into the following season. Higgs had no idea what was going on, he somehow couldn't get Bristol Rovers to finish 90th out of 92 League teams, and it wasn't one fluke season, it was a slow car crash that we all saw coming, he gets credit for nothing positive whatsoever. I agree, my point being that neither was it the Al Qadi’s team but you couldn’t stop WAQ at that time. Your point about a car crash being seen in very much how I feel now but I’m Rovers so it won’t stop me watching ...... & hoping

Or maybe go along and support the team and play our part in getting us out of this rut. After 4 years of being very strong at home we shouldnt be throwing in the towel after a bad quarter of a season should we? I will be there on Tuesday and I will of course support the team but it is not just one bad quarter, you look at our record over the last 28 league games - 23 points. That is relegation form. So well over half a season of poor form and now 5 games without a goal. That is not acceptable by anyone’s standards, apart from you it seems? Well your going to applaud them for not scoring again and 2 posters like that which i cannot comprehend. The team are trying to score and trying to win so surely as supporters we encourage them.

Come on, be positive, clap and cheer as crosses sail over the crossbar, Nichols falls over and 5 yard passes go straight out of play. Well we played some good attacking football in the 2nd half and passed the ball well. The atmosphere was good in the 2nd half because the team were expressing themselves which they have struggled to do very often this season.

My post was a bit tongue in cheek, we looked OKish in the 2nd half, I agree, I clapped the team off.

Could you list the part time teams in league 2 for me? The two promotions were hard fought and well earned why would any rovers fan put them down?

Go back and read what was written. I said that the momentum of the season playing part timers was carried into the following season. Why is it that a couple of people on here constantly do this, write replies to things that were never said?

The distinction between the 2 seasons is made when the momentum is mentioned that is carried into the following season. If you were this stupid I would pity you, but I think you are just a bit angry about something and are looking for an argument, you won't get it here. It's nice outside, go and enjoy your day.

I think it will be a club record of time without a goal on Tuesday so let’s all go and see a bit of club history being made. We can all applaud the team and, coaching staff and the owners for their great achievement. Special mention to Nichols, air shot from 6 yards, right in front of goal after 5 minutes. Second half, corner of 6 yard box, all he has to do is roll the ball into either corner, he bobbles it wide of the far post. The bloke is a complete joke. Except neither of the events, as described above, actually happened. Incident 1: - Not his finest moment, but he was actually to the right of the goal, near the touchline, and attempted to flick the ball back across goal. Incident 2: - He was at least 10 yards out, at an angle, with a player directly in front, and another defender and the goalkeeper to get the ball past. - It was pretty much impossible to get the ball round the defender and score. The only way would have been outside of the right boot and try to spin the ball back in, or try to transfer to left foot to get a better angle and curl it. At least you got the player right this time. Last season you carried out a lengthy character assassination on Nichols, describing how in tripped over the ball. You never did reply when I posted the video of what you'd described, to show it was actually Billy Bodin.
