So perhaps it's too early in the season for a "must win" but this is definitely a "should win" game. I have a feeling we'll come good today, so it's a comfortable 3-0 win for me COYB!

Odds on a Nichols hat trick nearly halved to 45-1. Has to be a sign 😁

Rather than dreaming about Penelope Cruz and Salma Hayek (which never seems to happen), I dreamt we won 1-0 and Tom Nichols scored the winner. That's 3-1 to Plymouth then.

I predict we'll need to score at least 2 to win

I predict we'll need to score at least 2 to win Yeah. [sigh. Dejected shrug] Green army started last season poor too then went on a great run. Some very strong form. Is it much the same squad now back in wonky form again? Anyone know Why? They have shown what they can do, 1.0 at the gate. I have sneaky fear they will remember their night atAshton and play more like the side on a run last season than a winless side this, leaving us waiting longer still for our own bounce back, even with an improved performance from us. So which are you? sod the performance today just win this one ugly! Or, is seeing a good performance and good football important to you from this one, after recent poor displays?

If ever a game had 0-0 written all over it... Remember the year Trollope took us up, look at our unconvincing league placing and goals scored through autumn, ultimately the promotion was founded on solid defence. How bad is the 0.0 today? I’ll be open and honest with you how I answer that question. Ill take the 0.0 as much as a 3.2. Obviously I would like a solid 3.0 2.0 or take a 1.0. but proving we can defend is also important today, for how that can mean many more points this season than odd occasions we outscore opposition, have false dawns in spite of melting butter defence. So if 3.2 win I’ll still be unconvinced, seen so many false dawns before. Reboot the season. Reboot the confidence. My early season confidence before each game is low now based on some too many poor 90 or 45 minutesez, particularly at the back. But that’s fair enough isn’t it? It’s up to the team and their performances to win confidence back? My Salop mate is actually in a different place, he thinks shrews have more than enough quality in their squad to soon gel and get into play off frame. Which made me think again about my own deflating confidence in this seasons gas. I think now my deflating confidence about this season is looking at the squad and thinking on the whole over 18 months the squads changed for the worst, lost a bit of cutting edge. It’s not always about money, at Man U the grump one has spent an awful lot, and paying some crazy wages, but without doubt has not spent it well across the team. I opened this post with Trollope taking us up on a strong defence. The extra backing Trolls got to push for Championship he didn’t make the best use of, and that’s what done for him.

If ever a game had 0-0 written all over it... Not this game surely? Both teams have scored in all of Rovers games apart from the Southend game and both sides today have particularly leaky defence. 1-1 or 2-2 but not 0-0. Don’t know why but I fancy our chances today actually.

Plymouth memories. Was anyone else at the Argyle game Alan Ball scores for us, the second I think In A 2.0 win.
A match at HomePark we are up,against it through out until Archer (?) slammed in a screamer with 5 mins left.
Duke netting A Winner in FA Cup thriller?
Those were the days. Stuff of old Sea Shanty’s.

Reilly gets a start. Good luck to him on his full league debut. He'll want to make a good impression to hold his spot knowing DC though!

Watching on iFollow, first UK viewing as it’s not 3pm kick off. Positive start but already signs of mistakes at the back, J Clarke almost led to goal conceded

Been poor last 15 from both sides. Highlight a strong shot saved from Bennett. Not much else to write home about

Ollie Clarke easily our best player. Some good play down the right, bit better last 5. Great shot from Matthews and good save. Looking more positive
