Fair play to the travelling Gasheads who could still be heard singing loudly at full time

It now appears James Clarke and Danny are injured.
Again.
Ok, fair play when fully fit, these guys are ok. But, they both have a sicknote in them....and both don't have natural replacements.
Our left back we signed from Huddersfield appears to be injured too?!
So it now appears (Kelly excluded) we have no natural full backs. And our mistake prone, off form, vertically challenged centre backs will almost certainly pick itself and we start matches with a goal handicap.
What could possibly go wrong?
Ah.....we still play Nichols. And guess what?
Na it really is too easy to guess..

DC on closing loan window: Has to be one in one out Okay. I have calmed down a bit now and can type again. Before the board say that, can they tell us who the four centre backs are every club in this league needs before end of transfer window shuts? Lockyear, Craig, Broadbent donāt need adding to? Seriously? It doesnāt need anymore height and pace? SERIOUSLY?

Just got back (staying in Reading tonight) 3-1 was flattering, we looked all over the place at the back and despite QPR looking a poor side , we struggled to break them down and when we did get in we couldn't finish. It was a slightly better performance than Saturday.

I've got a couple of mates who are QPR fans so I was in with their lot. They couldn't believe how easy it was to score against us when our general play had been so good. One bloke even said how ridiculous it was that they were 3-0 up but 'hanging on'. If only we could defend and attack..........

Seriously think the Defence Coach should be relieved of his duties... what on earth is he telling our guys. Truly awful as a unit with no leadership as always from Undroppable Tom. I said last seasons team was the quietest that Iāve heard, during the time Iāve been watching circa 1967 onwards but we really lack any leader or it seems anyone with the balls to shout the odds and keep the lines in position. This is unacceptable and needs addressing. There is no communication between our players and itās very rare you hear anyone call for the ball

DC on closing loan window: Has to be one in one out No it doesnāt Mister Chairman. Ā Not when the clubs in crisis. Ā Ā He (D.C.) has said the repeatedly and maybe he is trying to shame the board or I should say owners as we donāt seem to have a board as such. We are lacking confidence and, like winning can be an habit, so can losing. I spoke with Ollie around 3-4 weeks ago and asked him if he would come to Rovers now and although he didnāt quickly say no, as he has in the past, he didnāt rule it out as he used to. Personally I canāt see any manager doing better when D.C is obviously telling us we donāt have the budget to bring anyone in unless someone goes. It must be very hard on him right now and although he has taken responsibility for much, itās not all down to him. We seem to be playing the ball around well ( in spells) but with no end product. I think the problems are more that D.C & the players need to man up

Shepherds Bush is a bit of a sh*t-hole. Away fans not welcome in a majority of pubs. Thank God for the Spoons in the Vue complex. Tiny seats - possibly even smaller than the ones at Kenilworth Road. They're OK if you are less than 5ft 8". Missed the first goal. Second and third looked like QPR had all the time in the world to pick their spot. We had a lot of possession, but did little with it. Surely we can't continue with O Clarke / Upson in centre-mid (though to be fair I thought O Clarke had a good game). Still don't like Locks/Craig as centre-backs due to lack of height. Bennett played in behind Payne and that led to a few shots - but they didn't really trouble the keeper. Our late consolation goal that finally bobbled over the line after a few deflections got a muted cheer from the 1,800ish (?) travelling supporters. Nicholls set it up, but he looked shorn of all confidence prior to that. After getting out of the children's seats we were all funnelled down one exit rather than the multiple exit/entrances we had on arrival. Bloody stupid and surely a health and safety issue if there was a fire / incident? We were then pushed out towards White City which is not where I wanted to go. All in all a crappy ground. On the pitch - pretty much what I was expecting.

Awful ground (my second visit) I got people love that itās one of the few remaining āold school groundsā but as mentioned above, that away āendā is an absolute shocker.
I donāt normally do the whole āsitting in allocated seatā lark, no less last night when I got to whatever was printed on my ticket (ST priority brought during first half half hour of sales last week) and I couldnāt even see the goal net beneath us? Yeh, we moved.
Add to that the concourse fire escape, next to zero room between seats & absolute nause stewards on duty. Canāt say Iāll be in a hurry to go back.
