I have a horrible feeling that this week could end in total embarrassment for some individuals. Would it be any surprise if Matty Taylor scored a couple to help Oxford beat us?

Is he there on loan or signed ? Loan. Must be quite a lot over Oxford's usual wages , so you just get the feeling that the Duke of Guernsey is doing them a favour (at our expense??)

Not to me, it wouldn't. It took him 9 games to get of the mark for us until he rolled one in against Nuneaton. Let's hope he's a little rusty and takes a while to bed in.

If we get a free kick on the edge of the box and he's in the wall, aim for his bollocks...oh wait, I see a problem there

He may already get injured against Burton Albion tonight before Saturdays home coming !
Although Rovers incredible recent record against Oxford at the Kassam it’s fair to say Oxford don’t mind visiting the Mem as during their last six visits they have won three times, drawn two and only lost one.

That looks like an excellent signing for Oxford whose fans seem very happy with their direction of travel and optimistic that they could push on towards the playoffs having had a similar tricky season to us last season. We, on the other hand, are placing our main hopes for excitement this season in seeing Matty Taylor kicked in the bollocks or otherwise assaulted on the field thereby briefly distracting us from the dysfunctional nightmare it is already threatening to descend into. Things are not great right now are they?

Not really at our expense, well, maybe a goal or two against us but if that is worth the 10k+ a week Lansdown is paying him then he must be petty indeed. Oxford are as much our rivals these days as City are. They are light years ahead of us with the squad they have. It’s probably not even debatable whether any of our players would get in their first XI. Our rivals these days are Bury and Bolton, two clubs run in an absolute horrorshow fashion and yet who will still probably over take us at some point even with a 12 point deduction because the three stooges sat on our bench can’t seem to figure out how to score goals.
