Lines free kick, poorly defended, Craig picked up a re-bound
Craig has a good volley a while back too. Goal machine

Sercombe off injured former posh goal legend Nichols on ....time for him to repay the £300k we paid for him to score the late winner.

Sercs bossing the gaff the last 10 minutes, but down injured. Commentator feared a hamstring, but walking off at least
Tom N coming on - getting booed. Could make his name here....

Don't know about getting booed, they were laughing at him in the home game. If he isn't fired up to get out there and shut them up he never will be.

I think that is a good result,on the one hand I think it pretty much ensures League 1 football, but on the other hand means it very unlikely we could make the play offs, even with a good run at the end.

Waiting for choo choo...here's my thoughts. We were miles more happier with the point than they were. A good battling performance, a fair number of Gas turned out and overall, a fair result.
Great drink in Charters beforehand....a real gem of a bar(ge).
Positives.. Craig. My m o m. Nor just for his first goal, but a number of cut outs, tackles and all round defensive play. I only wish he was skip..
Ellis. Never stopped running. Constantly harassing them.
Slocombe. Unconventional keeping at times, but ultimately effective. Question mark about goal conceived, whether he was left in no mans land(?) but I thought an assured performance.
Broadbean. Brilliant again. Dealt with physical threat fine and never looked out of place. A very mature game.
Their number 42. Brilliant defensively, hardly put a pass wrong and marked his def mid performance with a clean responsible outing.
Negatives.. Bola. Blatantly subbed as was never in the game and just got frustrated with himself. He will have his day, just not today....brings me onto
Gaff. Such a shame after a great game last season, with an ideal opportunity early on to stamp his mark, he looked second best against a very physical and organised defence.
Lines/Clarke.....both I really like but had their work cut out. Lines too many off target passes, Clarke too many easy passes astray.
Sercombe. Just not finding his form of early season. He's being played all across the mid....that's not criticism, that's just what I see.
Defensive tactics today. Too many times we seemed to give them time to control the ball(especially from long distance passes). I'd rather see us hurry them and hassle them sooner.
Ref. Honestly baffling decisions. Inconsistent to say the least. Very much homer. Except when their cheating corner taker was sussed because of our tirade! Also remember Ellis being pushed off the ball literally in front of dc that forced him off the pitch, causing dc to leap about like a rabbit (more dignified than their mascot!) when no foul was awarded! Bemusing..
So we move on from an awkward match. I think dc got it spot on to sub asap, change formation and set up. Another day we might have nicked it (Ollie and Tom snatched at their chances rather remaining composed second half) but that would have been a gross injustice. A draw fair result, much like Northampton two week ago....the fairer result to the away team.
Lets move on and stuff Bury on Friday and turn a good Friday into a great Friday! UptheGas..

Apart from Bola having an off day, I think DC took him off to avoid a second yellow as that ref was so erratic.

Easter weekend set up very nicely! With the form amongst those around us pretty much all over the place, 6 from the next 6 would be total gold.
