Interesting how it states ‘stadium plans of BRFC President’ Something you want to tell us Wael.... Might be plans for a boy scout jamboree sorry meant more tents at the Mem. Time will tell but coincidentally and here I may be wrong but wasn't it aboutique that date that Hani said they would support the funding of the club until I am sure someone will correct me if I got it wrong

and it will probably say something similar in the next accounts I would think

As I said I was unsure about it as I only got it 3rd or 4th hand. Bit like the old army message was sent as send reinforcements we are going to advance ended up send 3 and 4 pence we are going to a dance The old ones are the best. Incidentally Simon what do you make of that tweet

The format of the conference offers a 15-minute case study and presentations followed by a Q&A round. The diverse mix of topics in the sessions keeps the delegates attentive and engaged. Panel discussions have been deliberately left out to make more room for intense interaction between speakers and the audience. Delegates have constantly given an overwhelming feedback with a big thumbs-up to the “unbeatable content” at the Coliseum Summits, which brings in experts under a single roof to discuss key issues pertinent to sports venue business without any break-out sessions.
Coliseum Summits are deliberately created for only 200 guests with the push more on quality instead of quantity. The spaces for sponsors and exhibitors are strictly limited. Coliseum is boutique and exclusive in a true sense.
Coliseum does not allow sales pitches. It is all about insightful industry knowledge based on projects and shared information – most crucially the mistakes made, subsequent solutions and lessons learned. The outcome inadvertently is more knowledge and absorption of key information that is critical to making better decisions on future projects.
Attending Coliseum will enable you to network with stadium and arena business leaders and your peers from around the world. Coliseum is a journey that leads to the discovery of valuable ways of creating a more profitable venue. Critically, it offers a great and unique learning platform about how to market your business with more engaging content for your fans and customers.
The underlying mantra, as stressed by founder Michael Rennschmied, is: “If we listen to each other’s challenges we will have a better venue at the end.”

It will, i am sure, be more talk. One thing all gas will know is talking comes cheaply. These things take time old bean. As I said in a previous post, there comes kudos from being a football club owner. I doubt very much that the main topic will be our alleged new stadium and will most likely be a jolly for the boys and girls. I do understand some posters in saying give them more time and I get it but, in a two team city, it’s vital not to be left too far behind. Yes, we have a potentially fair amount of fans IF we a) has some reasonable success on the pitch and b) had the facilities and stadium to attract them Meanwhile and while the AQ family argue and change tack, the 82 are going for a cat A academy while we now not only won’t have the cat b but a training ground. Be angry at me if you wish but we need some urgency within this evolution process. Evolution doesn’t mean it has to be slow, by definition. What truly saddens me is that if you saw the Tote end old boys do then you would see a great deal of supporters who have been waiting for decades to have something good happen but we are now at the stage where age means many won’t see it even were it to happen. I wonder how many hundreds of thousands of pounds were spent on these experts ? They didn’t stay too long though. In Mr Wembley’s case, he was off fairly quick. I tried to talk with him via the net but got nothing, q’uelle surprise. As I have always maintained, I will believe it when I’m sat in it and knowing it’s ours and for the club and not another venture whereby the owners get all that comes from it, a la Eastville. Having said all of that I hope to have this rammed down my through and be eating several hats because I wish for nothing but the best for us. As the stranglers sang, something better change

Think I will go back to bed

I haven't seen the tweets so I'm a bit clueless on what it's all about but, assuming this is an event Wael is attending, isn't this a positive? "Attending Coliseum will enable you to network with stadium and arena business leaders and your peers from around the world. He likes networking don't he? Soccerex, this stadium junket, seems like being owner of a football club has given his visibility a bit of a boost.
In fact he likes speaking to pretty much everyone apart from the local media. Would be nice for him to have a cosy chat with Geoff and 10,000 Rovers fans on the radio sometime soon. Wasn't Geoff looking to book something in for January?
Who knows what his remit is as speaker at this conference, was he supposed to be speaking about the UWE? The new Mem that might never be? Or just about the challenges of putting some new hand dryers in a toilet?
Who cares, really. Less talk, more action.

If the family had no interest in Bristol Rovers like most of the people on here think then WHY attend ? Can only be good news and a sign of great things coming our way

well the tweet has been pulled and replaced from discussing New Stadium Plans with Wael to discussing with Wael Even by the standards of Bristol Rovers that must be one of the shortest lived new stadium development plans

If the AlQs were going to sell the Mem, he would look pretty stupid attending this type of forum. Reputational damage still our greatest safeguard.
It's a decent indicator that there is genuine interest in developing the Stadium.

He said so, and anyone who disagrees will be insulted, he did that as well. What can anybody teach him?
