That made Nichols run ahead of the ball and then nutmeg himself on Saturday did it? Anyway, he's a lazy player, he wouldn't have been busting a gut like our left back was and turning up on the edge of the opposition 6 yard box in the 92nd minute.

Nichols was on long enough to manage go get himself ahead of a ball that was played beautifully into his path, he had time and space to take a touch, look up and get his shot away, instead he got it caught between his feet and all but fell over. It's not even funny any more. That sounds like Billy Bodin's chance, late in the game, you've described there. Gaffney laid it on a plate. The ball did break to Tom Nichols, and he got a first time shot away, but was faced with a line of defenders by that time. Maybe, in hindsight, he could have chosen to try and take the ball round - I can't blame him for trying the shot in that split second though. See from 1.55 mins:

See from 1.55 mins: How dare you put evidence up there to support your claim. That just shows how difficult it us watching a few thought Nicholls missed the first chance when in fact it was Billy Bob. Shows how fickle we are, Billy can miss two very good chances and gets no criticism while Nicholls is guilty before getting on pitch.

I also thought it was Billy that got the ball stuck between his legs, and Billy that missed the first (simpler) header in the first half, which got pinned on Sercombe.

Sercombe had two headers in first half, one bit easier than the other. The highlights are posted two posts above He's right though. Billy missed the clearest chance - all alone, on the end of a pin-point cross from Danny. Then Sercombe had two opportunities: one a more looping cross from Sincs, he had to stretch for, and another from another great cross from Danny - more similar to Billy's - where he was under pressure from a defender, but would expect to hit the target. The 1st Liam Sercombe chance you can find on the 'Matchday Moments' video, at 3.00 mins: And you get to see the 2nd Liam Sercombe chance on Sky Sports highlights: www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/11154071/bristol-rovers-2-1-rotherham

I’ve ALWAYS backed EH & used to get so angry when our own fans would give him dogs abuse. I wouldn’t blame him & id be upset when he goes. The only thing we have in our armoury is that he is close to family here. To give balance I was also a fan of Eliot Richards and believe Mark McGhee ruined him plus Nick Higgs doing the deal for Gow which got us nothing yet we still paid Richards wages. I am resigned to losing Ellis as he had a responsibility to himself to get the best deal possible for him & I don’t see the owners giving DC &EH agent enough to keep him here and I’m not talking only finances. Just out of interest padstow , we’re any of the scouts from prem ? I can’t see Ellis getting gametime at a prem club but I definitely do at championship level. I don’t know if the rumour I heard could be true but I’ve been told the lot across the river have been showing interest. Gentleman’s agreement my hairy arse, it goes against the treaty of Rome to not allow a transfer to them wregardless of this. 2 of them are and you must remember who brought him to rovers...Stuart naughton and who does he work for southampton Thank you

Of the three headers, one was a sitter and it wasn't either of Sercombe's.

According to EFL HQ, and they know a thing or two about football, Ellis made its team of the week:
Forward: Ellis Harrison (Bristol Rovers) Another League One representative, Harrison delivered a lively attacking display to help Rovers to a 2-1 win against Rotherham United. Neither side went into the game in top form, but the Welshman showed persistence to poke home an equaliser, before teeing up Liam Sercombe to complete the turnaround and earn maximum points.
Oops, the manager of the week was a certain Lee Johnson.
