"I don't mind saying openly that the only reason I'm here now is for the supporters. We're a backs to the wall club and that looks like it's continuing at the minute." -DC
That's why he should get our backing the next two Saturdays ...six points would be a welcome return. Lets get behind him and encourage Billy Bodin to stay.

Billy Bodin will want to make as much money and play at the highest level he possibly can. We know we pay crap wages. If you were Bodin why would you want to stay at club with no ambition and no facilities?

Whilst I agree, which players in their right minds woukd want to stay at a club that is not keeping their word and sold a contract to DC that was not fulfilled plus we now know of the losses we make each year and the charge against our only asset ? It all well and good being loyal but when that loyalty is one way then you woukd habe to redress your own situation to suit. If I was a sought after player or manager and had just been shafted, as DC has, I’d be actively putting myself about on the market. Yes, I am being negative but when you hear our own chairman talk as he has and the manager being so open about the situation then it really is time people woke up. I have no faith in the owners at all and I’m sick of the lot of it. There is only so much any manager can do when not being backed and each time we hear of plans, they get changed and we don’t get close to what was promised. I can see things getting very nasty and rightly so. The fans can also only take so much. As it is, it very much looks like the club is being set up for the me to be so,d when we reach that tipping point and whatever my thoughts on NH, he never put the mem on the line. I am afraid pie tasting and Wael being a fan only goes so far. Small are laughing at us, if I wasn’t so angry then I’d shrug it off. As PessimistGas says, we are in deep trouble and unless Wael and Hamer can somehow change minds or get finance on their own then we are on the road to nowhere as I see it

If we pay crap wages, why do we still make such huge losses with the gate receipts we have?

I can understand this years accounts showing losses due to the takeover and paying the old difectors loans off but you make a valid point when even Steve Hamer says this will continue. How can other clubs with so much less fans manage to carry on without making such huge loss I notice Wael talk of FFP, surely if we pay such low wages then that should not be a problem ?

My wife's uncle (a s**thead mind) said to me many years ago that we Rovers fans ought to wonder where the money went. But then,if there was money to be siphoned off,why would Higgs have sold the club?
