300 appearances for bristol rovers,no mean feat in the modern era for a gifted and fine professional footballer. At his best chris is the type of player that can leave opponents chasing shadows with his touch and vision at is times breath taking. His speed and control when making surging runs forward from midfield are a joy to watch and can create panic in opposition defences. Hes not perfect and has possibly had character issues during his career and is not the bravest of players physically but in the long run has proved himself to be a fine bristol rovers player. I played against his dad several times in local football but sadly he died young and missed chris lines 2nd spell with us,he would have been even prouder of his lad if he was still with us.

Arguably enjoying his football with us now as much as ever!
And a GasHead at heart.

On top of all that he is the only player to achieve three promotions with the club, a feat that may not be repeated for a very long time.

Good to see playing so well - he's matured into a real midfield general.

Looks comfortable in his role in the side. Has had his critics in the past but one of the first names on the DC team sheet.
