We joined the Football League in 2015. You should read the excellent Bristol Rovers Definitive History 1883-2014 book to cross check your facts
For your info we exited the FL in 2014

We joined the Football League in 2015. We'd only gone out the back to have a fag, we hadn't left home.

Well the original post said Football League debut
So must be players who only played odd cup game or pre season that are not included, which would also include those who only played in conference.

Just to confirm the stats are FOOTBALL LEAGUE appearances only so White,Cunnington,Goldberg,Wall etc did not qualify as they only played CONFERENCE (NON LEAGUE)

Maybe they should wear their debut numbers on their shirts like a badge of honour?!
Wonder whom was 666?

Quite a few of the 900 would never have worn the quarters,Robin Stubbs,Ray Graydon,Wayne Jones,Carl Gilbert,Joe Gadston,Sandy Allen,Alex Munro,Larry Lloyd, Phil Roberts (?) to name a few...plus the goalies of course.

I wasn't embarrassed I enjoyed that season,Southport was great Dover was disappointing. Players like Trotman and Cunnington deserve to be remembered as much (more in fact ) as some of the overpaid dross that have played League games for Rovers. I am only interested in watching Rovers but I like going to the non league grounds for friendlies.

Gavin was from City via Yeovil, and should have stayed there. Perhaps astaf but he scored a late winner at Yeovil and we haven't done that too often! Think it was 2011 when we went down but it might have been 2010, haven't checked. 😀 UTG!
