His rumours aren't very popular or well received on the other forum. It's like most be over there only want to read facts, except facts like the football club only spending money secured against it's only asset r I think his rumours aren't very popular, because everything is portrayed with an air of self importance I resolved a bit back to sit this out, but just to break my own rule, I'd rather hear facts as well. Or at least some explanation or substantiation about what folk allude to, which then becomes the latest scandal on which we all form a resolute view - 'creditors haven't been paid' (no names, no detail, take it as fact, speculate over five pages and wind each other up into a frenzy, conclude disaster), 'two other groups are ready to pounce and build at UWE' (no names, no detail, take it as fact, speculate over five pages and wind each other up into a frenzy, conclude disaster), 'somebody said....' (no names, no detail, take it as fact, speculate over five pages and wind each other up into a frenzy, conclude disaster). What next? Let me know when there's some substance beyond 'Dwane Sports are no longer intending to build at UWE'.

A Bird Doesn’t Sing Because It Has an Answer, It Sings Because It Has a Song-A Chinese proverb "Yippee Ki Yay, motherfer" - Mike Jay. Keep your distance though, Chewie…but don’t look like your tryin’ to keep your distance. I don’t know…fly casual

A Bird Doesn’t Sing Because It Has an Answer, It Sings Because It Has a Song-A Chinese proverb Apparently that quote is from Maya Angelou and its a US Postage Stamp now. Trying to find what it is actually means. Seems to be about birds in cages. Not sure of the Rovers significance, apart from the fact there are a few ITK's who like to sing to make them feel important or be perceived as important. Its the sort of quote you chuck in a conversation and walk off leaving everyone to think 'what the f**k was that about".

A Bird Doesn’t Sing Because It Has an Answer, It Sings Because It Has a Song-A Chinese proverb Hi there John/Mike/Harry - I'm afraid this is factually incorrect. A bird sings for many reasons, including: an alarm call; a warning of predators; to announce territory, and to find a mate. And, communication being a two-way thing, some of the bird song will actually be an answer.

I gave up at the start of his first sentence of 'Believe it or not, the main talking point in the corridors of power on Saturday was that there are two potential suitors for our football club that have been made known to our owners.
The so called 'corridors of power' in reality, one long corridor crammed with hospitality staff attempting to wriggle between people heading to their boxes or the toilets, while staff are trying to serve food, never ever seen a conversation last more than a few seconds because there is barely enough room to swing a cat on match days, no mention in our room and checked with two other people in different rooms and no mention in there either.
OP is again coming across as a splitter, for what reason who knows, or really cares, he never backs up with any substance, pinch of sodium chloride.

Can understand how small petty people would adopt that stance No shoot the messenger unless he begins to report anything of any real substance for once as opposed to splitting opinions, pretty basic requirement to garner support, spout vague riddles stand back and watch a cat fight ensue, no credibility for that, and clearly many others feel the same way, no need to be so precious, that's for the other forum that you have been getting precious on, this one is for realists and people who have heard it all before, several times, reaching for the roll eyes icon. Peter Parker, carry on with stating FACTS, it makes forums more interesting.

Can understand how small petty people would adopt that stance He can say what be likes as far as Im concerned. Over time he has said many things, some true, some that were not so true. I am sure he has been used in the past to put stuff out there, true or otherwise simply because they know he will plaster it all over the internet At the end of the day, its internet fora, we can only make our opinions and assumptions on the written word. I dont particularly care what anyone thinks of me based on the forum and I dont generally take any offense or anything personally that might be said, because its a football forum and i aint that precious My attitude has always been that if anyone ever wants to take anything up with me in person they are more than welcome to. I dont hide behind a username, there is a picture of me in my avatar. Sprout

Gasincider called it right last time except he called the wrong consortium and didn't see the Al Qadi's coming.

OP is again coming across as a splitter, for what reason who knows, or really cares, he never backs up with any substance, pinch of sodium chloride. I think this is unfair and comes across as creating a straw man.
We have a situation in which the only real known fact is that Rovers have pulled out of the negotiations about the construction of the UWE. Given that this appeared to be one of the main stated reasons why our owners were interested in purchasing Rovers (above others it seemed) in the first place, and that there is an absence of an immediately apparent plan B, it doesn't seem unreasonable to speculate that this may have an impact on their commitment to the club.
These doubts have not exactly been eased by the comments and behaviour of our upper management team since then and the noises and actions of some around the club and who have had dealings with it - the best you can say is that we have heard well intentioned stalling rather than full throated commitment coupled with statements of intent. That might reflect their own desire to re-consider the options going forwards but it's unlikely to inspire confidence. In that context, it seems reasonable for people to express concerns and speculate on possibilities on forums in the way AMPG has. The main lack of substance and clarity is on the side of Rovers management and that creates unease because the onus is on them to clarify the situation. This doesn't mean people want the owners out but it does mean that quite a few see reasons to be concerned. Substance is a slippery thing too when it comes to Rovers - it was once a fact that we were spending a year playing in Cheltenham, it was once a fact that we had a watertight contract with Sainsbury's, it was briefly a fact that finishing the UWE deal was a priority and just a matter of details........Hard work being a Gashead!
