I love current affairs, news, politics, debate, argument, philosophy etc. But not so much on the internet. And less still on gasheads.org BRIFF. I do not need to know whether gasheads dislike Somalis. Most of us spend too much time on here (I do). So I only read Gas Guzzler. This used to have a mixture of BRFC and large-chain supermarket economics. The Al Qadi takeover ruined everything. Now, gasheads no longer seem to care about large-chain supermarket economics. All you get on Guzzler these days is Bristol Rovers this, Bristol Rovers that. And none of even that focusses on Wongaloan debts. Bring back Higgs.

A similar previous sub forum, "Current Affairs", saw topics often degenerate into a repetitive name calling farce with near libellous postings.
It took an inordinate amount of the moderators time to manage the section and was shut down over two years so ago. Personally, I have no desire to bring it back.
This is primarily a "Bristol Rovers" forum and I believe it should stay that way.

I dare say one or two who swore they never would have, when they thought nobody was looking, ventured back into that dreadful orange store I don't know any Somalis, but that Mo Farah seems like a nice young man. Shame he's told HMRC that his main residence is Portland, you would have thought he would be happy to pay his fair share of tax here, but there you go, if it's good enough for Lewis Hamilton. Getting back to The Gas, if Swiss is right everything Rovers' related is about to come crashing down and we can all go into full hysterical meltdown again.

Reason for suggesting a new section was just to have somewhere to have a few jokes and be a bit silly... Gaschat.
