I see Tom Eaves has been released at Yeovil ,I know his recent form has been far from good, but when he was on loan with us, he looked a very good prospect. I think he should be offered a trial some players seem to play well only for one club.

He's a static target man, I don't think he fits in DC's latest tactical visions. Not that I don't like the guy, but we need more complete forwards

Gregg Wylde Scottish Winger the former Plymouth Argyle player released by Millwall. Was on loan at Northampton Town from January.Well worth considering.

Nope. No. Nein. Non. Not on your nelly.
At one time I could empathise with op, but club and player have moved in very opposite directions since and I see us surpassing his abilities.
A nice idea once, but lets move on..

He has suffered with a persistent groin problem, curtailed his loan at northampton though he played in the 5-0 game at the mem and was subbed after 28 mins along with a team mate.

Say what you like about Matt Taylor (and most people will!), his movement was always very good and used to pull defenders around and create space for others. To replace with a static targetman whose mobility is not great would be unusual for DC. That's not to say we can't have a big, targetman but it would need to be one with some mobility and a bit of nous who creates space for others and not just a battering ram. UTG!

DC will have other targets I think, but Tom back at Rovers, under the MS and DC eye would not be the worst idea. Chances are though we are aiming better bets.

Wonder what Chris Beardsley is up to these days... Beardsley moved into coaching after being released by Mansfield Town. Then appointed as fitness coach on 7 July 2016 at newly promoted Championship club Burton Albion.
