Seem to remember FGR staying in the conference even though they finished in the relegation places, but can't remember why That was at the expense of Salisbury City, a few seasons back, we were demoted 2 leagues, and FGR stayed up, as did Weston-Super-Mare in the Conference South. That is when Darrell Clarke moved from the Salisbury captain to the Salisbury manager, and got us promotion through the play-offs from the Southern League Premier in the first season, up to the conference south. 2 seasons there, then back to the Conference Premier through the play-offs again. The first season back in the conference south included us getting to the 3rd round of the FA Cup for the 1st time in our history, that took some doing for us... Basically, you really have got a good manager, he did an amazing job for us. Thanks Liam, and those are the reasons why I think we should let DC get on with it and not look for a more experienced manager as has been suggested by some on here.

The guy who was coach of our Uni team did a pretty good job too. Reckon we should interview him before we make our mind up about DC.

Unless Coventry fold completely I would think there might be sanctions against them, fines or even a points deduction but nothing more than that. I can't see them being booted out of League One. I Imagine that Coventry would get a points deduction as well (unless they go tits up) probably like Leeds. Something like 15 points

Personally I hope Coventry do pull through, if they go under I'd accept staying up but I wouldn't celebrate their demise. But just one thing on the report above, I noticed the date it went to print was May the 8th, so it was written well before the FL imposed deadline. I hope for the sake of fellow football fans they are equally confident now. Regards Rich Utg
