& Paul Trollope.
Dubious as a stand alone manager, undoubtedly a skilled coach/ assistant.

Remember them playing at the Withdean Atletics stadium after their exile to Gillingham a 150 mile round journey.Their new stadium has transformed their club.Congrats too, to Pompey and the Muff. Two full houses guaranteed at the Mem for those two games.New owners at Blackburn and Brum both sacked excellent managers and their replacements were a disaster but seems Brighton have been much more circumspect.

Happens in the corporate world too. Owners of companies have such ego that they will bring their own men in despite the existing regime having all the skill and experience needed to achieve success. Classic example were those yanks at Swansea who brought in Bob Bradley as they could only work with a fellow sherman.

Very interesting point about paul trollope is that he is never out of work for long and he attracts top clubs willing to appoint him on the coaching staff or as assistant manager. He clearly is a very talented coach and i wish him well.

yep, can say what you want about him as a manager, but as a coach he is very much in demand it seems!
Is he still involved in Wales FA as well?
Really hope Brighton do well next season - and next week for that matter!!

A very good side. I look forward to my visit next week to the Amex. Between a side already promoted and a side already safe.

Didn't you state that you would not watch "them lot" again until Johnson left? I have reconsidered that view. You can't buy loyalty like that. But you can buy a season ticket at your dump for £50, with a free shirt thrown in (and you get a receipt for the shirt as well). Big club my arse, big clubs have a waiting list for season tickets.
