Thought can't use the Bristol coat of arms because of, for want of a better word, copywrite issues. As the badge could not be owned by Rovers any one could use it on merchandise thus losing revenue.

A dead robin dripping blood on the end of a pirates sword would appeal to me or maybe a robin just struggling for life like Taylors footballing career !

How many would wear it to away matches?

Yes.Change the club badge. As I've been known to mention, the current Pirate could be imo Barbara Windsor dressed up for Christmas pantomime. I would look towards eg crossed swords or the Edward Teach flag or play on that original design. I was waiting for Bas's contribution to this thread!

Not funny and quite offensive. I'm still waiting to hear your point. As for the IRA post, it's both very funny and truly offensive. Feel offended for a bit, then feel better. Offence causes no injury. I suspect Chewbacca was merely baiting the imbeciles who chant and sing songs about the IRA at the match. They can go to bed early (alone).

This is BMW's roundel, not BRFC's. These are BRFC's quarters. They are unique. They have sharp corners. Blue is on the wearer's top left. So it looks best with a white embroidered crest or a white background coat of arms. It was originally this way round (intermittent BRFC quarters from 1931 to 2014). It is sometimes reversed (intermittent BMW quarters from 1936 to 2017). Let's get back to the unique and distinctive 1931 quarters now, starting with this forum's default avatar. As for the crest, anything in white cotton emroidery or the Bristol coat of arms* *embroidered properly, not the garish cartoon version used by Bristol Sport 1982. Also, changing the current crest is not some abomination against our history. We've only had the camp pirate since 1997. Tote end boys my duck's arse! I love the ship setting sail from Bristol. I think the current design is fine but with our (imminent) move a new club badge would be apt.

I'd rather stick with our present badge. Directly linked to our original nickname, highly distinctive and recognisable, and as someone mentioned - very well thought of by other football fans. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Further to my prevoious comments then I would only accept a change of badge if we changed our colours to red. Change does not always mean better.

I like our current badge a lot more than any other previous badges and would much rather we kept it. If the desire was there though, I wouldn't be adverse to a vote. The current badge vs 2 or 3 others maybe.

The current badge vs 2 or 3 others maybe. I think a vote may be difficult to manage, certainly an internet one. I don't particularly care about what badge we have but I would prefer not to have one as the result of an internet vote that could be easily hijacked.

You internet guys are not a major portion of the fanbase, so no vote would be binding.
