I really don't know what to make of his appearance today. We had none other than Steve Hamer say that he was having an operation that at his will finish him and yet we see another u turn. Is anyone in the know on here and can maybe explain what is going on please by the way, I am one of those that thought it was premature to put him on the list of no hope. Thanks in advance

DC said just back after op. Lucas wanted to go on loan and door was open for Easter to get fit again.

Maybe they have agreed something. Cant comment on what Steve Hamer said, but I take anything DC says with a pinch of salt when it comes to the players

Easter did well ...dived once lucky not to get a yellow card and soon after denied a possible goalscoring chance. A clever footballer worth playing again as Harrison injured and Lucas at Woking. I see Puddy scored own goal for Aldershot while playing for Sutton today.

Thought we were "less good" once he came on. Luke's constant harrying was one big reason we were so on top in first hour. Jermaine can't work at the same pace & hence our defending from the front went out of the window. Will be gone in the Summer!

we got told that easter ripped up his old contract and has signed a new one but not sure how long for, thus scrapping the clauses he had in the old one

If your information is correct then that would suggest that he had a "Bradley Allen" clause in his original contract. I think he probably will be leaving in the summer, but things can change and he might get a short term contract. I think he could still do a good job in the Vanaramal National League for another club (Newport?).

I wouldn't be surprised if Easter was here next season even if a new deal was done. If he had a clause in his contract previosly, I wouldn't blame Clarke for being wary that he might trigger an extension for an older player with a possible dodgy knee and potentially tying up money

I thought he was nothing short of crap in the first games that I saw him play and then I saw a different side. I saw a footballer who has a good first touch and who can actually hold the ball up and we seem lacking in that department for what seems like an age. I see a guy who knows his time is done as a striker but who can certainly play a good role playing behind either a lone striker or a two. I'm no football brain and usually avoid those threads as I find them boring and very egotistical. All I can do is comment and give my opinion on what I see and I always thought it was a strange decision to send him to the knackers yard so early on. I also believe we need a couple of older heads around and would hope that he is a positive influence in that respect. Hey, any guy who allegedly has torn up a contract so that he can play is right by me. UTG

Abused, houses and property vandalised and excrement put through their letterboxes. Am glad we at least helped Peter Aitken. I really can't bear to hear that lot go on about the AG8, as if they gave them any real choice.
