Another classy performance, we looked awesome at times going forward.
Thought we defended resolutely too.
My observations.
Locks was brilliant. Composed and confident.
Ollie, m o m for me. Glad everyone is seeing what I and others knew for a long time. Establishing himself as undroppable and has the potential to go further. Take a bow, sir!
Lumley is a GasHead. Hope the endorsing from the Thatcher's End becomes official one day.
Easter, nice cameo. Definitely fouled for what could've been another penalty.
Gaff, for me a close second m o m. Ran well, had plenty of chances and even defended well too.
The real m o m was their Keeps. Seriously kept them in it. 4-0 wouldn't have been surprising, well played big fella.
Good crowd on a rubbish day. 8500 were numbers we could've dreamed of for years in 4th division, nowadays it's almost disappointing.
Well fair play, we played some great attractive football. We were dominant in both boxes and looked comfortable.
Chesterfield broke well, and at times defended resolutely, but too often resorted to fouls.
All in all we should be dispatching these kind of opponents (no disrespect) more clinically, but for me the performance and tempo was up there and we were worthy winners.
I've deliberately left out comment on the white elephant in the room.....but for me, I really like LJ contributions. Ok he didn't score and I know that doesn't sit well with alot of you, but I have to say I like him. He played well in a partnership of him and Gaff, and has definitely a part to play of you buy into DC footballing philosophy. Tin hat on!

Would add thought Monty got in more tackles and blocks than anyone first half.
