Sports journalists interviewing DC had better check their facts first!
DC: Have you been to every match? Int: Well, err...no.

But if ever DC gets caught out, he regains the upper hand. After the Oxford game: DC: Everyone's putting a shift in...cheered on by 1400 fantastic supporters. Really pleased... Interviewer: It was 1800 travelling Gasheads today. What's that like...? DC: I lost count at 1400, I must apologise... DC After the Oxford game

The guy is an occasional radio Bristol commentator, I'd love to interview DC but then I wouldn't hit him with bulls**t questions riddled with assumptions in games I haven't seen.
What a douche.

Don't think dc tolerates fools. He never has done.
Like with everything, he expects a professional, high quality approach and question asking fella dropped well below the mark in his research.
Also, very confident responses.

If only the interviewer has asked dc "why were we so terrible in away games for so long this season". Then it would have been our manager struggling for a answer.

DC shows many facets to what the modern manager needs to be. Media friendly but not contrived, defensive of players, slightly introverted but not afraid to run with his decisions. Nick Higgs got this one absolutely right.

Reminded me a bit of a young Cloughie in this interview...never giving the interviewer an inch without ever losing his rag (unlike some of the current premier league bosses!)

I thought he was a bit hard on the interviewer I agree. He's only doing his job. Thing is he wasn't doing his job particularly well. If you're doing an extended interview for the radio overlooking the season, you at least check the results before making blind statements. Journos give out a lot of stick, particularly at the top level so its not surprising to see some managers give it back (Pearson at Leicester did this a lot)

Nick Higgs was too busy staring into the headlights to go beyond 'he's under contract', fortunately. 'He did it best, when he did nothing at all.' [ Just for the record, but otherwise let's forget about the guy. ]

Kind of, but it was gently done. No 'young man' or 'let me tell you' stuff. The guy gave an analysis not backed up by the record, and that was refuted.

DC sent Yatesy out to talk to RadBris after the game. Reckon DC was busy with the hair dryer?

DC sent Yatesy out to talk to RadBris after the game. Reckon DC was busy with the hair dryer? Couldn't fault the lads effort tonight, given it was 10 Vs 12 for so long. Only one place that hairdryer treatment would be directed, I think you can guess....
