When I think of her I think of the not the 9 o clock news sketch where the buyer gets out his Amex card and she thrust her ample cleavage out and says thank you sir, would you like to rub my tats ! She was a tasty looking bird

Not really, I never started the thread. C'mon Kev spill the beans let us mere mortals in on the secret No secret, the forums are saying that there is positive news to come soon and I've heard the same. The fact that I heard it from people I would class as reliable I'm hopeful that it's true.

She was a tasty looking bird Err...that was Pamela Stephenson....Anderson was the bay watch lass. Am surprised that Clive and Pam were the first Andersons to pop into people's minds rather than ex-Rovers Ijah, John or Mikkel (Andersen). Think there's another one too..keeper that played for both Bristol clubs but not sure of my facts re him!

Mikkel was the one that came to my mind first - great keeper, and yes I would have him back! Ijah was pretty useful too, though I still don't know WHY he got sent off at Leyton Orient all those years ago (swearing at the Ref?).

Still, the thought of those beauties would distract most red blooded males and some females too, just to stay on the right side of the PC brigade

i'm wondering how this discussion went from UWE to Pam Anderson so quickly lol so ask the boss on twitter if Keith is talking crap again, like the tweet about a certain scale covered creature on deadline day "100% not happening" look how that turned out, not that im complaining at all, takes me back to when i was a young lad and those red swimsuites

The passionate rovers Facebook page is full of it and certain people are so very definite about it. It's a shame it degenerates into abuse a lot of the time. My view, based upon so many years ( not as long as some, of broken promises and setbacks is that I will believe it when I am sat in in and watching us play a league game. I don't think anyone can blame the skepticism from some of us

yep have seen the post on book of the face but until i see an official announcement i will start to have faith,i have been waiting for a new ground for 90% of my life since i was a little chap being dragged to trashton by my granddad when my great uncle ( a Mr Penrice ), not sure if anyone has heard of him :-)) invited all the boys one boxing day to a game instead of the usual trip to trashton, i was Six at the time and that where it began for me and the Gas, my granddad refused to talk me for months when i said who i'm going to support but he understood at least one of his grandchildren had taste ( not sure he used those words)
so i can wait for a new ground, and i will be a proud gashead sat in the new stadium on the occasions the wife lets me out the doghouse lol but she is slowing being converted to the GAS

So from this thread I understand that Pamela Anderson is going to build the UWE for us and Keith Chimp (who I know nothing about) is going to star in a remake of Not the 9 0'Clock News?
Also, there seem to be quite a lot of angry people posturing on social media and talking rubbish - but I'm not sure that has counted as news for at least 15 years.....

At the Gas Business Network meeting at the Mem last night, Steve Hamer was guest speaker and had 32 business owners in silence as he delivered 45 minute engaging and interesting speech about his life experiences and take on football, having spoken to him before and after the presentation it did not strike me that this was a man close to announcing the biggest news in the clubs history, he looked relaxed and happy, if he is holding in 'imminent' news then he did a fantastic job.
The speech itself was really interesting, fair play to the man for laughing at the fact that not only did he lose a lot of money as chair of Swansea, but the Garibaldi pub in Swansea had a picture of him on the dartboard, if anyone could hit him in the eye they got a free pint!
