Oh dear. Bang to rights. I've had my differences of opinion with you Mike but now have caught you out twice. Strange indeed. I don't even know who the hell you are I have never seen, spoken to or meet you in my entire life. Would not know you if I saw you in the street. You say we had differences of opinion you serious.. so what the hell you saying caught me out twice ? Twice from what. Have you been smoking weed again ? LOL ! Brexit man with property in Spain and now two profiles on here and outed by admin. Mike, we may not have met but I genuinely worry for you. There isn't an ounce of anger here but there is concern that you've been pushed into a bad place. Easily done.

How very, very disappointing yet not completely unexpected. Have we not endured enough already? Not impressed with the Steve Hamer interview, the reference to the 1980s Wimbledon side is not appropriate, and certainly not the image that Wael has tried to portray... I get his point though, but it is a bit patronising. We don't need to be encourage to dig in and survive, we have spent our whole existence as a football club in that mode. Today was really bad news, no way to dress it up in a positive light. This ambitious project was always a million to one chance, and ultimately failed. This was certainly the best stadium proposal we have ever had, but not good enough. The club does not come across as very professional, but if the deal is not right then we are correct to walk away. The owners need to be selfish and do what is right for the long term future of the club. Here is my own personal opinion. I have had my fill of searching for alternative sites, enough already! I would like to see us maximise the potential of the Memorial Stadium site, it is our home. Build the best facility that is possible, and that will see us through the next phase of our growth. It is more than enough for Championship football, should we be fortunate enough to get there... If we ever hit the dizzy heights of the Premier League, then go after the 30K+ dream stadium. Time for a reality check, and to make the most of what we have. Up The Gas!

It's not lowering yourself to take part in discussion. There are a few buffoons on all social media, but most, like Chris, are sound. I take it you've not been a part of the so called Bristol Rovers appreciation page ? Take a look and tell me younever see anything that is close to debate. I wasn't casting aspersions on Chris but just surprised he can handle the utter crap posted there That group is RIDICULOUS. The other day people were trying to compare men's football x women's football, I stated respectfully a contrary opinion (that they're different variations of football and not up for comparison), and this one buffoon shows up being a complete pig, demeaning women and being overly sexist. I tell him why he's wrong and soon enough the clique starts with those b******t internet arguments ("white knighting"), telling me to shut up, etc. If even an off-topic post is subject to this sort of hive-mentality, echo-chamber behaviour, can you imagine how divisive subjects like the UWE are being ""debated"" in there? Must be either a pissfest or a circlejerk - it involves d*cks either way. Makes checking this forum that much more likeable.

Much of it is nonsense, but so is the Passionate Banter or whatever it's called, which is hijacked by the same bores. There's regular debate on the former, if you scroll past the kids posturing.

I left when I saw a post saying of Rory Gaffney, hope his injury is season long and then some. That was more than enough for this bloke. When our own fans wish bad upon our own team then it's time to bow out and FRO. That post got a lot of likes and further comments agreeing with it

Came very close to doing something I'd habe regretted at leisure and so I removed myself from all groups apart from tote end old boys. Twofacedbook is now really not for me now & I keep it only for when I am hospitalised and that is when it's really handy

That fb group is a joke, makes otib look pleasant, I left it after getting some quite unpleasant comments directed at me for making some comment or other.
