So can you name the top five Rovers players most appearances from the subs bench in league football ?
Modern football introducing three used subs has increased appearances. From the 2011-12 season, the rule allowed naming up to five and using up to three substitutes for any reason

Billy Clark spent lots of time on the bench but only made 13 actual sub apps.

Who has been on the subs bench the most amount of time whether or not they actually played? Too much research to find unused subs for me. Although suspect Goalkeeper Mike Green would be up there as unused sub as Steve Phillips was so consistent during his time at Rovers. |
