listening to the 20p interview, Wael comes across as 'realising that he's got to try to answer the difficult questions honestly but squirming because he doesn't want to be too direct', or something like that
you can feel his discomfort, but its a no-bluffing sort of discomfort that makes him easy to support, I think
he's still untested when things are going badly, but I think he's blinking brilliant so far

I was just curious to see what had been said on the day by WAQ and SH and how it stacked up against what they had achieved thus far. Although I did have to sit through Higgs waffling on and fiddling with his bloody thumbs.... Some of the questions in the press conference from someone from BRSC were a bit cringeworthy tho..... |

So how does it stack up. Pretty well I'm guessing. Yeah pretty well. The one surreal part was the bloke from BRSC asking if the former directors would be used to help the new regime. SH and WAQ made the right noises about making use of expertise but I bet they rapidly changed their minds as they realised what a mess some parts of the club were once they started lifting the covers.... :-D |
