Whatchu talkin' bout, Willis?! Arnold...near Nottingham. Late 60's if I recall. 1st round 1966/67. 3-0 win. Beat Luton in next round 3-2 after being 2-0 down and home to Arsenal in 3rd! Lost 3-0.

What's the latest time we can sign a GK, register him as a Rovers player and play him at Walsall?

What's the latest time we can sign a GK, register him as a Rovers player and play him at Walsall? Probably 5pm or midnight on Friday, but I doubt we'd sign one after tomorrow as he'll need to train/meet his teammates before playing? Although Puddy sometime gives the impression he's never met them!

Thanks Droitwichgas.Today i bought one of the last 100 or so tickets for the Walsall game,i've been hoping we'll see a new GK Saturday. A new GK would give us a far better chance of picking up points and staying in the 'race'.

My ITK source has let me down. I do apologise. Keith Chimp is about as ITK as I am about Shakespearean comedies.

My brother ordered two tickets about an hour before this announcement, I guess it's a bit mad to miss my nearest game this season even though I do expect the worse after Shrewsbury.

Don't worry, I had to look it up as I couldn't remember the details. Can't remember very much at all these days. I'm not getting old - I'm already there!

My ITK source has let me down. I do apologise. No need to apologise, last nights results could have had a major factor in it. As in no players in or out until they decide if the manager still has a job.

As in no players in or out until they decide if the manager still has a job. But surely using that logic we would not have got him whatever the result. Lose - and no one moves until manager position sorted Win - and no one moves as he will be needed for next round (he seems to be used in the cup games only for whatever reason) Just a thought.....not that it really matters now tbh.

I don't think he's "needed" for cup games, its just a way they've been giving him the odd game to keep him sharp. If they'd progressed there's every chance theyd pick their strongest team in the later rounds. Which is not a dilemma they'll have now

Allegedly DG turned down a move to another Championship club because of wages.
If true, not sure whst chance we had
