from a TractorBoy mate...
He’s good – but can’t get a game with us as the main keeper in great form.

If funds allowed I'd like to see 2 keepers come in... An experienced one and a younger one who would provide competition. If only one comes in he attracts all the focus such as Chapman, Roos etc and where do we go then if the keeper starts making costly mistakes?

I'll be sending my season ticket back if we sign Chris Weale. If the evolution not revolution theme has any kind of ambition in it, then signing Gerken is the obvious option.

At least we can sing that old favourite when he makes a mistake, "your just the s**t in the burger" can't wait.

It seems an odd one Gerkin playing tonight as what happens if he's a penalty saving hero later, or even gets injured? Plus they don't seem to have a decent No 3 to replace him if Gerkin's starting?

Doesn't strike me as odd at all. He's only played in two previous cup games this season, their number 1 is having a rest on the bench.

I just checked Wikipedia to compare his height with Puddy. Own up, who has been playing with profiles?

I don't know if any of this pickle stuff has any credence or not. But assuming it does - do we need to move quickly while Mick Mcarthy still has some say in the matter?

We did - won 3.0 I seem to recall. I was there, it was about 1968, a first round F.A.Cup game and the ground was or appeared to be in a public park! I think it was the season we got to the 5th round and lost 0-1 away to Everton

Devon White started his career at Arnold but what any of this has to do with a goalkeeping pickle I don't know.
