#utg To 'end our pickle',"knows the area". Dean Gerken seems a reasonable guess then.

#utg Should hope he does know the area - it's only 44 yards by 18 yards. You can't really get lost.
I'll get my coat....

Also 'set to start' tonight which would be a bit weird if a move was imminent. Would be relatively happy with the deal though, so fingers crossed!

Maybe DC let the goalkeeper coach pick this one as he worked with him over at BS3 for a couple of seasons. Nearly 200 appearances in the championship,, good CV.

I think you may have made the same mistake I almost did when trying to find evidence for this and turning up the following article; www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35422651Played against Birmingham a week or so ago but is clearly not their first choice so possibly Chewie is ITK as opposed to bored....

Or looking at the clues given above, evperienced keeper, knows the area played in the championship well known to current keeper coach, has to be Steve Phillips

He would certainly let fly at the defenders in front of him

Knows the area as in has played the field..
Onions, walnuts, gherkins, beetroot can pickled but first grown in a field..
Rovers end goalkeeping pickle makes sense, we've just come out of Christmas, Frankincense...
FRANK FIELDING! Simples!?
