If both sets of fans were honest and unbiased, the fan bases arnt that different in terms of overall suporters. No brainer why they have a few more than us at home, higher league position and better ground. Away games are when the more hard core suport come out and dont think there is much difference there - we do quite well for the league we are in.
If DC can keep it up on the pitch and Wael can deliver the ground in next few years then Bristol football genuinely will have some exciting competitive years ahead.

The massive difference is that from a financial point of view it doesn't matter how many fans we take away as the home team keep 100% of the gate money. Their home receipts must dwarf ours and at £34 for a walk up to sit behind the goal I expect their receipts are treble ours. We desperately need that new ground if we are going to compete on the pitch with our old rivals.

But we're not in debt to the tune of hundreds of millions.
So the treble gate receipt they receive, is superceded by their extreme running costs.
I bet our club runs more efficient £ for £..

They are in debt to themselves so I don't think they are worried about that but I agree we are being run the correct way as far as we can see and that is something that I've longed for.
