Not sure if this has been posted on another thread but if not this is worth a watch Were much better than that performance last night, Dons were unlucky to get 3 points, but that was one of the worst games ive seen from us in 2-3 years and they couldnt do it. Its a good sign the last 2 that we havent been close to our best but have picked up 4 points.

At least he is a fan and his club means something to him, even if it is a 13 year old, club destroying, plastic, manufactured, pile of pooh franchise, play toy of a rich boy .

Where to start - I love his outfit, his hair arrangement, his gesticulating, his reasoned and intelligent argument about his historic MK dons; he interspersed is prolific use of f*** with ramblings about hotel entrances, choking, robbo out, kenny Jackett and mackie D's. I wonder whether all their fans are buffoons?

Great phrase. Touché again. I thought I'd be happy when Wimbledon got above MK in the league. But now I want to see them a division below Wimbledon, and forced to give up the 'Dons' suffix. It just not an appealing football club at all.

I don't understand why they even want to cling onto the Dons part of the names, much less why they're allowed to.

There's no reason why a town of that size can't achieve a real football league club. Perhaps the answer is for a club in Milton Keynes to build and rise from the bottom of the pyramid and put the present MK club out of business.

I enjoyed the line 'everything went to bollocks....', I will attempt to integrate that into general conversation.
Also, it sounds like that if anyone spotted Kenny Jackett last night then they could be in the money from this guy....
It would also rescue poor Kenny - anyone that had the misfortune to watch his performance on the C5 highlights package last weekend would probably agree that he's not cut out for a career in the media.

I stopped by the forum to wonder why the suffix 'Dons' prevails, and see others have already!
They've handed back the honours and history to Wimbledon, so what's stopping them moving on to a more appropriate name? 'Dons' doesn't sound that good anyway, and I'm sure was only taken as a nod to where they'd come from. Although, I suppose you could link it to the fact that the Open University is based in Milton Keynes. So what could they be?
- MK Boffins: similar to Dons, and would link to Bletchley Park, where some think the expression was coined (no one knows for sure though; there have been several suggestions and none have been substantiated).
- MK Bulls: a link to the concrete cows, and Red Bull Racing is based there. There is also the claim in Stony Stratford that the phrase 'A Cock And Bull Story' comes from the names of two pubs in the village - but that is most probably a cock and bull story in itself. The problem is that 'Bulls' can easily be added to and make a fun chant, especially when not playing well.
There isn't really a lot else to choose from. No real history. The Mk Codebreakers? ... Nah!
Personally I think they should abandon football and maybe take up playing Grid-iron instead.
Why are they still called The MK Dons? I'm not sure, it's an enigma ...
