Never forget how that club hijacked their way into the league. Disgraceful.
I've been only once. To hockey stadium. Caught train around the houses to get there. Classic away day....we played poorly and lost, got soaking wet in away end and rovers fans turned on each other.
I believe Trolls offered his resignation soon after.
Kinda glad they didn't accept it, he took us up that year via Igoe Wembley!
Safe journey, Gas....let's hope for another 3points, the first against these lot.

I went to Bletchley Park once. Very interesting, I thought.

April 2009, lost 2-1 with an Elliott header at the end not nearly enough to make up for a s**t showing.
NYD 2011, lost 2-0. Caretaker gaffer in charge (Paterson I think) none of our lads looked arsed, 2 down early on and I was severely hungover having spent NYE in some s**te club in MK. Conditions well below zero on the day of the game n all. Just, horrible.
Driving tomorrow night so here's to something a bit more favourable!

NYD 2011, Caretaker gaffer in charge (Paterson I think) don't remember that bit, but apart from that remember it exactly as you describe it

Darren Paterson was it? Whoever was in charge only had that one game before the next gaffer was in charge. Awful day all round.

I don't have any idea who he is/was either the name just sticks for some reason. Have a screenshot from a match report and it was him as manager, but no idea how to upload from a mobile.

Like astafjevs the trip is only made bearable by visiting Bletchley Park on the way, talking of astafjevs I went to MK to watch him in the Latvian side against Ghana which was colourful and noisy with plenty of interesting food outside.
PS I can not bear Franchise XI and have no desire to discuss the games apart from the tug-of-war with the plastic barrier between the fans which was fun.

I may have deceived you; Bletchley Park is as close as I've been to Stadium MK and long may it stay that way.

Dirty dozen....12 matches v Dons of the old school and the new variety MK and just one victory 1-0 a Kuffour winner at home 5 April 2010. That's six and a half years ago and a certain Christopher Lines played in that match.
Saw Rovers their once 13 April 2009 a2-1 defeat and a certain Christopher Lines scored our consolation goal. Good stadium superb padded seats Fans travelling tomorrow take note our own UWE will be very much like this but no large superstores around it...more like 6,000 students living close by instead.

Steve Elliott header off a Stuart Campbell corner 5 mins from the end, in 2009.

Why would you even want a padded seat at a football match?

Why would you even want a padded seat at a football match? The seats are great, and there is enough leg-room for people to pass without even turning sideways. The one time I went, the food was good and the staff were friendly and obliging. Unfortunately, there is about as much atmosphere as a park bowling green.

Seats are the next big thing at all seater stadiums its a 21st century thing. Being covered in case it rains. Coming to a UWE stadium near you in 2018.

Only been once in 2009. Abiding memory - the padded seats are the same ones that Arsenal use. Atmosphere is better than the Emirates but that is faint praise indeed. Will we end up with a similar stadium? I know we have waited years (oops decades) - but another soul-less all-seater comfy bowl may not be what have all dreamed of. Reason I raise this is the new Wet Spam experience. I have spoken to at least a dozen Hammers and they HATE actually HATE the Olympic Stadium. The atmosphere has gone. They feel like their Club has lost it's identity, and they've stopped going. Look out for empty seats in the future. One season ticket holder sold his after 3 games. I won't repeat the language he used to explain his decision. Of course I'm not saying I don't want a new stadium - but just be careful what you wish for.

Did not realise they haven't won at home yet! Only one draw at Stadium MK to date, I think.
Not sure how I feel about this.
Ah f**k it, 3-1 win.

That's the sort of anomalous run that you'd expect to fizzle out by about mid-October.
